A tag has been placed on List of Countries by Cultural Group, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

It's a pure case of OR and does not fulfill verifiability.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Shovon (talk) 04:29, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

May 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from List of Countries by Cultural Group, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion notice, which will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. jsfouche ☽☾Talk 10:45, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of Countries by Cultural Group has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No verifiable sources; user opinion of groupings; possibly considered OR

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. jsfouche ☽☾Talk 10:47, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from List of Countries by Cultural Group. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Notice on this edit, you removed the "uncategorized" tag, but did not place the article in any categories. When you remove a maintenance tag, you need to explain what you did to fix the issue. jsfouche ☽☾Talk 00:27, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm GSK. I noticed that you recently removed some content from PlayStation 3 without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! GSK 19:27, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Space colonization, you may be blocked from editing. I don't understand why you keep removing tags from articles. It is a disruptive thing to do and you have been warned about it several times. If you remove tags in future please make sure that your edit summary explains why you have done so - otherwise your actions are starting to look like vandalism. andy (talk) 23:42, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
