Pokémanics anonymous[edit]

If you are interested in Pokémon articles, you may like to join the Pokémon Collaborative Project, a group of editors who work together to improve Pokémon articles. You can help with our current collaborations and find out more information on editing articles, as well as discuss Pokémon-related information. We hope to see you there! -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 06:49, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.... you've been busy[edit]

I'm glad to see you've been making some useful edits to many of the pokemon related pages and i'm quite thanful for another set of eyes to review the language, spelling, and grammar. Many of the edits you've made to the mechanics related pages have been VERY constructive :) One small thing i notcied was that you've been changing many uses of the singular they to "his/her". While such uses (his/her, his or her, he or she) are grammatically correct, when dealing with an article where there is the potential to be using such pronouns very frequently, the singular they is an accepted alternative to the awkward usage of / or or. For the sake of consistency i'd prefer that singular they be kept at least within the mechanic-related articles because they often have the need to refer to the player in a gender neutral tone. If you'd like to discuss this more, feel free to respond at my talk page. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 07:04, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By all means, if you can rewrite the sentence so that it dosn't need the pronoun, and still sound good, pleae go right ahead. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 07:21, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:POKE is doing some housecleaning[edit]

This notice is to inform you that because many people have added their names to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon#Participants but do not seem to be active, all names are being deleted in an effort to find out who is still truly interested in the project. All you have to do is re-add your name if you'd still like to be considered a member of WP:POKE. Any questions, you can contact me on my talk page. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 17:47, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]

Your edits to the template have been reverted. The pages for both Yu-Gi-Oh! and GX use both the Japanese and English names due largely in part to

A - the names are different in the anime and manga. The English manga uses the Japanese names for Yu-Gi-Oh!, and other characters have the same name in both versions.

B - the differences between the Japanese and English versions of the anime make such distinctions a necessity.

Please do not make such edits in the future. The Clawed One 03:36, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RnK?[edit]

What is that? What was that comment a reference to? Thanks. Ashnard Talk Contribs 19:23, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Pokemon game mechanics[edit]

I guess it's just jargon for "stats". I'll change it. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. The Transmogrifier (talk) 01:07, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Positive Stat Differences"[edit]

To answer your question from Ink Runner's Talk page - "positive stat differences" refers to the 10% stat bonus a Pokémon gets based on their nature. This means you can "breed in" extra stat bonuses onto baby Pokémon. Hope that helps you to understand :) TheChrisD RantsEdits 01:11, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of Kanto Gym Leaders. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Kanto Gym Leaders. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:13, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
