File permission problem with File:The entrance of Darul Uloom Zakariyya.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:The entrance of Darul Uloom Zakariyya.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 01:25, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Darul Uloom Zakariyya, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://duzak.org/index.php/history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Disambiguation link notification for September 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

June 2013[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CambridgeBayWeather. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Jannah without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Please read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not censored CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 11:50, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. I know exactly how some sects of Islam feel about images. However, as the link I provided you before states; "Any rules that forbid members of a given organization, fraternity, or religion to show a name or image do not apply to Wikipedia because Wikipedia is not a member of those organizations." CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 13:02, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Islam and images[edit]

There is nothing wrong with the word sect but we can use religious denomination if you prefer. A look at Islamic schools and branches it is quite obvious that there are several divisions within Islam. Now not all those divisions have a prohibition against images, but you as a Muslim must already know that. I suggest you read aniconism in Islam and depictions of Muhammad where it is quite clear that within some denominations, such as Shia Islam, images are permitted. However, other denominations, such as Sunni Islam, forbid all images. Suggesting that you will continue to try and attempt to censor Wikipedia to you particular beliefs will likely end up with you being blocked. Some other things that may help you understand this are Wikipedia:Offensive material, Wikipedia:Content disclaimer, Help:Options to hide an image and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Islam-related articles. If you feel that it is necessary to remove all images from Islamic then you should go on to read Talk:Muhammad/FAQ, Talk:Muhammad/images, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Muhammad images and Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Muhammad images. Following that you need to start a request for comment at Wikipedia:Requests for comment but do not just continue on removing images when consensus is against you. Edit warring[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Jannah. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:52, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Logo of DaraloomZakariyyaLogo.png[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Logo of DaraloomZakariyyaLogo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:38, 16 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
