Re: 3RR on Richard Blumenthal[edit]

I made a legitimate contribution that was well sourced. It was reverted by IP addresses with no history of contributions other than the reversion on the Blumethal page without an explanation why. Explain to me why it is not a legitimate contribution, and why I shouldn't keep reverting, as the 3RR rule allows for more reversions, if the reversions were done in bad faith. Ethnicity[edit]

The ethnicity of someone is mentioned in mostly every article. Take for example the article on Al Capone, in the lead it is mentioned he is of Italian ancestry. These things defintely deserve having a prominent place in the lead of an article, especially if the information is already well-known, if not "defining" a person, and can be (and IS) wel referenced.
