Image tagging for Image:Ink.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ink.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Unspecified source for Image:Ink.jpg[edit]

I can't work out how to get messages to people. I wrote the artical - and I know the picture is ok to use. I don't know where to put information on saying this.

Thanks for uploading Image:Ink.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:42, 29 November 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jusjih (talk) 03:42, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:Ink.jpg[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Ink.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use media which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Addhoc (talk) 12:12, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Inkey Jones has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

deletion requested by non-autoconfirmed user on talk page with rationale "uses self-published source, does not meet notability criteria"

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —KuyaBriBriTalk 16:05, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

August 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Northamerica1000. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions to Inkey Jones because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Northamerica1000(talk) 23:03, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Inkey Jones with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 23:11, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page that you created was tagged as a test page and has been or soon may be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. the test page you set up[edit]

You might try typing a help me template as such:

I need to speak to someome about deleting a page i set up. the information i have found out i not true..i thought it was at the time. I'm being hassled by someone who found my details from it. I need to delete the page..i created! Thebestofall007 (talk) 23:52, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you are the only one who has made substantial contributions to the page, you can tag it for speedy deletion by putting {{db-author}} at the top - two curly brackets each side. If other people have made any substantial edits, it's more difficult. What is the page? JohnCD (talk) 23:59, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If the page is Inkey Jones, I'm sorry, but now that other people have substantially edited it, you can no longer have it speedily deleted on request. What you can do is give your opinion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Inkey Jones that it should be deleted, and give your reasons. JohnCD (talk) 00:12, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Claim of harassment[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you have claimed you are being harassed due to your involvement with the Inkey Jones article. As far as I can tell no one has harassed you on Wikipedia. If you are being harassed via email or outside forums, there is very little that anyone on Wikipedia can do to help you, especially if you have revealed your email address on publicly visible web pages. —KuyaBriBriTalk 22:14, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
