Speedy deletion nomination of Bohemian Religionist[edit]

A tag has been placed on Bohemian Religionist requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Bohemianism. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Copyright[edit]

The copyright in the link might well be yours, but when text from it was brought into Wikipedia there was a copyright problem. Wikipedia content is freely available under Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 3.0, and this means that anyone may copy it and use it elsewhere (subject only to acknowledging this). Because of this, only new original text, or text that is already licensed under CC-BY-SA (but not CC-BY-NC-SA), or text that is in the public domain because of its age, may be used in Wikipedia (excepting brief quotes clearly marked as such and acknowledged and which come under 'fair use'). The text in question is on a page attributing copyright to answers.com, and many sites like that take over the copyright from the posters.
