IPA and Turkish language[edit]

Greetings! I see you changed some IPA notations in the Turkish language article, but you used symbols that aren't the key for Turkish IPA. Could you explain more what the expanded symbols are and why you're using symbols not in the key? —C.Fred (talk) 22:39, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Phonetics is the study of the production and perception of speech sounds, and phonology concerns the study of more complex and abstract sound patterns and structures (syllables, intonation, etc.).
