Philadelphia Eleven[edit]

I reverted your edits because blogs are not considered reliable references. Also, could you not use Ibid. That gets confusing, especially when people can add/delete refs anytime and anywhere. Just wanted to let you know that I have made some proposals for cleaning up the "Notes" and "References" sections of the article Philadelphia Eleven. Thank you Scholarwise for the reply , but I must admit I am sort of confused as to why you decided to post it on Alla Bozarth's talk page instead of either on your talk page or (more preferably) on the article's talk page. The wording of your reply makes it sort of seem, at least to me, as if you were replying on her behalf. Was that the case? Please do not take this as an accusation of anything improper, and if I am totally misreading the situation, then I apologize in advance. Just a little confusing that's all.

Anyway, for future reference, it's OK to leave a message for an individual editor on their respective user talk page. The easiest way to do this is to simply click on their user name and then on the "Talk" tab. Some users also have a link for their talk page included as part of their signature (in my case it looks like this Marchjuly (talk)) so you can just click on that and you will be taken directly to their talk page. Now, if you which to discuss ways to improve a particular article, or edits which have been made to a particular article, etc. then the best place to post is typically the article's talk page. For example, if you have any specific suggestions or questions about the article "Philadelphia Eleven", the best place to post them is at Talk:Philadelphia Eleven. Doing this makes it easier for all editors watching the article to see your post and respond to it if they wish. Please note, however, that there are specific rules regarding talk pages; You can find more detailed information at Help:Using talk pages and at Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Also, please be aware that the rules for user talk pages and article talk pages are slightly different so it's a good idea, in my opinion, to familiarize yourself with them in order to avoid any innocent mistakes.

Now for your specific comments regarding the proposals I made, I think the best place to discuss them is at Talk:Philadelphia Eleven#Notes and references: cleanup proposal. This helps keep all discussion relevant to that specific topic in a single place, thus making it easier for all concerned to follow. As you can probably imagine, trying to discuss the same topic on multiple pages can be really confusing: not only now those discussing things now, but also for those looking for such information in the future. Before you post there, however, I suggest you skim through "How to use article talk pages" and "Indentation" if you're not already familiar with them so that you have a better idea as to how to post.
