Article looks good to me, still needs a little work but for a stub it is not bad at all. --Kf4bdy 23:22, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hangman Game 27[edit]

Thanks for essentially giving me a hint... see Wikipedia:Hangman for more... I think I may have solved Game 27! Woo! — Ian Manka Questions? Talk to me! 20:33, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, just wanted to let you know you don't need both {{User:UBX/MusicBrainz}} and Category:Wikipedians who use MusicBrainz on your page. (Having the latter messes up your sorted position in the category). Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 13:32, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oooh, OK, I'll remove that then. Any tips for sorting out my userbox problem though? Satan's Rubber Duck 14:46, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You need to put them in a table if you want to control their layout. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 09:05, 27 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've started a WikiProject on MusicBrainz. If you are interested more info can be found here and here.

Looks good, I've added my name to it. Not sure how much time I'll be able to devote between studies though. And I don't think the WikiProject banner is a good idea, as in theory EVERY album would then have it, but if WP:ALBUMS can have one (and theirs annoys me too) then hey. Does it start now, or does it need to be officially greenlighted first? Satan's Rubber Duck 13:51, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The banner will only placed on the templates' pages IIUC... --Azertus 15:23, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And pages directly pertaining to MB, such as the main article and the tagger software. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 04:18, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User Boxes[edit]

Here's the code I'm using on my User page to do userbox stuff, just replace the lines with the appropriate stuff.

{| name="userboxes" id="userboxes" style="float: right; margin-left: 1em; margin-bottom: 1ex; width: 252px; border: 1px solid #99B3FF; clear: right"
|-
|{{user Canada}}
|-
|{{user en}}
|-
|{{User:UBX/lj}}
|-
|{{user Wikisource}}
|-
|{{User zodiac:Capricorn}}
|-
|{{User webcomic}}
|}

I copied this off of someone else's user page, so I'm not sure what all the options do. (Just like I stole Capricorn from yours. :)

Nekura 23:51, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, thanks :) Satan's Rubber Duck 00:54, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - I love clean formatting that can be maintained. Thanks again.--Esprit15d 12:50, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You commented on the AfD discussion for The Rabbit Joint. I basically agree with you, I think they don't warrant their own article, but one song they made became slightly more notable than they were. If the song doesn't deserve a page, then I'll let this whole issue drop. But to me, it seems like there's something notable and verifiable here. I (apparently re-created) The Legend of Zelda (song) article, but it got deleted speedily (the person cited reposted material). The thing that pisses me off: how am I supposed to know it's reposted material? I checked the deletion log to figure out where my stub went, and then I found the reposted material reason; there was no AfD discussion. I can't even get a copy of The Rabbit Joint undeleted so I can see if it had any references or not. My next step will be to search for sources on my own, but that won't be until later this evening. I'll have to throw TLoZ (song) into WP:DRV later, as well. Xaxafrad 14:55, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bwitched bwitched.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bwitched bwitched.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:45, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Fish Bouill.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Fish Bouill.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 18:15, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Japanese Dream[edit]

The article Japanese Dream has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Album with little notability mentioned

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
