Welcome![edit]

Hello, Samanthastone12, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Response[edit]

Hi! Elysia (Wiki Ed) is actually your Wikipedia Expert for the course, but I can definitely still answer your question! With templates, here are some instructions on how to add or edit them. If you're editing in Visual Editor (the easiest method), you can access templates by clicking the "Insert" menu and selecting the "Template" option. If you see a template on an article that you like and want to use in your draft, definitely feel free to copy directly from that article. Just make sure that both the article and your sandbox are open in edit mode so that everything can copy over correctly.

And of course you can always ask us to copy over a template for you if you need us to! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:07, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
