April 2019[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, If you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. 331dot (talk) 22:19, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Your reason here - I made a mistake and signed up with a company name. I did not publish a company page as I was looking to provide two important pieces of information, which I needed to obtain, namely a permission and a citation. I apologize, it was my mistake. I meanwhile submitted an edit which occurred to me on reading an article. I would like to submit to change the user name to Rose00088. I respect Wikipedia and will abide by its rules. I will also ask advice if needed as I am new to this. I also think I have accidentally signed up twice, the second as rose-ckofficefurniture. Can you point me to the right page on how to submit full disclosures, please? I will also look this up on the site help pages and read further before submitting any further!! Sorry!!CK Office Furniture (talk) 09:34, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Accept reason:

I've changed your username and will remove the block. 331dot (talk) 10:00, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • You accidentally registering another account is OK as long as you never use it(or alternatively, never use this one and use the other one), especially while using this one. Please read about conflict of interest and paid editing, both of which will explain how to make the appropriate disclosures- which you can do on your user page (User:Rose00088). It's also a good idea to mention it on the talk pages of any articles you request edits to that are pertinent to any conflict of interest you might have. If you have any other questions, you may ask here and I will see them, or if you want to ask the wider community you may use the Teahouse, an area for new users to ask questions. 331dot (talk) 10:00, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
