CS1 error on 777 Partners[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page 777 Partners, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 21:18, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Raphael9912. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page 777 Partners, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You have only ever written about 777 Partners, in the two years before the page was created, you only edited other pages to say that 777 had bought them, so it is quite obvious to me that you have a connection. Your editing of the infobox included putting Sevilla and Melbourne Victory as "subsidiaries", despite the company only having minority stakes; this is also the approach taken on the company website. You have rewritten the lead to the company's corporate speak, again removing the distinction between subsidiaries and minority investments. You added a first paragraph in the history which is corporate speak, pretty much copied and pasted from the company's writings. You have censored the founder's drug conviction, though this is covered by reliable sources all over the world and an obvious thing to know about a businessman. Wikipedia articles should not be edited by people connected with the subject, and it can be a source of personal and corporate embarrassment if the press finds out that you are editing your own article.
