You're suggesting WHAT...?[edit]

Toras Moshe[edit]

Reb Chaim HaQoton[edit]

Hello. I appreciate your comments explaining your use of a blog in the external links for Reb Chaim HaQoton. I actually didn't remove that from David as you stated, but in fact removed it from Davidic line. Wiki has standards set about blogs, and they are not to be used. I didn't set the standard. BTW, the so called "sources" in the article are not verifiable as they link to nothing. I couldn't get one link to open up. Next time please sign your name when posting comments on my TALK page. If you look at the end of every article on Reb Chaim HaQoton you will see a list of all the footnotes and the sources cited, these sources can be easily verifiable. I do not feel that posting the link to Reb Chaim HaQoton was a violation of Rule 11 of Links normally to be avoided in Wikipedia:External_links for the above cited reasons. I don't need to prove anything. The verifiability of the content of the BLOG is not in question. Blogs aren't allowed. I didn't make the rule. This blog article isn't contributing to points made in the articles. Rule 11's exemptions apply to links being used in the article as a source. This isn't being used in the article at all, nor is the content of the blog relevant to the content of the articles. It's just using them to advertise the blog. At a minimum, add those links, with the titles and sources of the articles, as External links or Further reading. I would advise you first very sharply edit the list. Mentions are not significant references. Listing of religious services in LA are not notables; presence of his name on a petition or a letter is not notable. The award in your ref 44, for example, might be notable. The newsletter is back! Many things have gone on during the past few months, but many things have not. While the assessment drive helped revitalize the assessment department of the project, many other departments have received no attention. Most notably: peer review and our "workgroups". A day long IRC meeting has been planned for October 13th, with the major focus being which areas of the project are "dead", what should our goals be as a project, and how to "revive" the dead areas of our project. Contribute to the discussion on the the new channel (see below)

We decided to deliver this newsletter to all project members this month but only those with their names down here will get it delivered in the future.

I apologize[edit]

Between December 14, 2005 and June 7, 2007, I vandalized Wikipedia under my previous username (YechielMan) and under various IP addresses and alternate accounts.

I recently reviewed the contribution logs of all the accounts and IP addresses that I can recall having used. My goal was to identify all of the intentionally harmful edits I caused, and to apologize to the individual users who reverted those edits, or warned me, or blocked me.

Hence, I apologize to you and to all of the following users:

Gedolim Pictures[edit]

I saw your article about gedolim pictures and was going to nominate it for deletion because wikipedia is not a dictionary, but I think there is a possibility of fleshing out the article more to make it encyclopedic rather than dictionary-ish. Do you? If there isn't maybe it should be deleted, but I don't think it's right to just jump peoples articles with deletion tags. I'd also like to help. I bet we can find articles somewhere about the children collecting them. I know some schools do it as a prize for good attendance, etc. Looking forward to hearing from you. In your modification, the 'Banishment in the Bible' 'See also' reference has been completely deleted and replaced with 'Pulsa denura'. Since according to the article, cherem "developed from the Biblical ban", I think the 'Banishment in the Bible' reference is appropriate for this article, and would like to check if you have any opposition to returning the reference to 'Banishment in the Bible' back into the article.

Chaim Michael Dov Weissmandl[edit]

Hi,

In the March 28 2007 Revision of the Chaim Michael Dov Weissmandl page you write as fallows,

"Nonetheless, later, some of these letters have been found, and when compared to Rabbi Weissmandl's account, they are very similar, if not word-for-word in some instances".

I have a big interest in Rabbi Weissmandl; since I’m a student of his yeshiva of Nitra, during my years in the yeshiva I’ve herd similar claims, of some letters being found.

although I don’t for one second question - g-d forbid - anything this great sage said and wrote I would still love to source this fact for others, so Bauer's attacks on this great man can be disputed.

It's not Lashon Hora (It's not terrible rumors, I'm in possession of documentation R. Zvi Block has signed his name to that are under question), they are undisputed facts. In fact Zvi Block refuses to meet with an attorney and refuses to be recorded. You should question this man and the threats he has made.

You should question yourself, for defending a man of unscrupulous character!
