WP Trains in the Signpost

"WikiProject Report" would like to focus on WikiProject Trains for a Signpost article to be published this month. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Also, if you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day. -Mabeenot (talk) 19:25, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Accessdates

Re Oxshott railway station, I reverted to the original date format for consistency. The ISO date format no longer autoconverts according to preferences and looks ugly in my opinion. Not sure about changing the accessdate. Going by what you say, everytime someone checks the ref, then they'll need to alter the accessdate in the ref. Webpage has not substanially changed since 5 Nov. Mjroots (talk) 06:10, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:

If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing!HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:05, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

The article Exploits Valley Air Services has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication of WP:notability. No independent WP:reliable sources. Nothing much to see on google.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 12:36, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

EVAS

Please do not delete the EVAS page. How should the map be listed? A student of the flight school simply over-laid some lines in different colors. Sources are valid on the fleet, TC is slow to update I guess? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cpt.sam (talkcontribs) 23:51, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

I noticed that (a long time ago) you added the infobox to this article, and listed the gross tonnage value as tonnes. If you were unaware, gross tonnage (commonly used to measure ship capacity) bears no relation to weights like metric tons. If you have made similar edits to other ship articles, would you be so kind as to check and correct them? thanks, Xyl 54 (talk) 23:32, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi. I noticed that you seem to know your way around template development from contribs here. I'm used to cutting and pasting from the template page and am not sure how to 'grab' an infobox from the page indicated above, nor can I see what parameters are available. such as, for example, allowance for inclusion of an image of a school in the infobox. Sorry if I'm missing the obvious. Would appreciate advice. Best. RashersTierney (talk) 12:31, 22 October 2011 (UTC)

I don't care. Go for it if you want. I am against the concept that someone took my personal conversation with another user and published my ideas and that is why I made all of this trouble just to confuse the hell out of everyone. But really, at this point I won't undo it anymore if thats what you all want I am just offended that my ideas were stolen by a user. Cali4529 (talk) 04:28, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

FYI

My prior account, Cali4529, got hacked about a week ago. All of those rude comments are not my own, please don't treat me like an ass now but at the same time don't treat me like I am new, I have been around for a while. I have the situation under control no need to report it but do note this. I am messaging you specifically because I see that the hacker treated you extremely badly. Thanks for understanding! The article Thatto Heath has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article has been here for six years and still has only a single source, that one is for a school and not the subject itself. All the content appears to be OR. I think the topic may not be notable.

Proposed deletion of Ireland rail templates

{{Infobox NI station}} and {{Infobox Ireland station}} have both been nominated for deletion and it is likely that the two will be merged. One of the suggestions is that both be merged to {{Infobox GB station}}, which would likely result in it being moved back to {{Infobox UK station}}. As you had significant involvement in the Ireland templates, comments on any aspect of the nominations would be appreciated. Both deletion discussions may be found here. --AussieLegend () 08:11, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

Delta terminal move at LHR

There has been some kind of dispute on how to handle terminal moves for airlines. However, Delta still has all flights operating T4 (on 2 April 2014, DL flights to BOS, SEA, and JFK will operate from T3 while ATL, DTW, and MSP will continue to operate from T4). Can you take a look? My suggestion is that DL's flights to SEA, BOS, and JFK should have a seperate entry with flights operating from T4 or put the terminal under the terminal column as "3, 4" with a some kind of note or whatsoever. Cheers! 68.119.73.36 (talk) 18:47, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

Category:Railway stations served by East Midlands Trains, which you created, has been nominated for possible deletion, merging, or renaming. A discussion is taking place to decide whether this proposal complies with the categorization guidelines. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the categories for discussion page. Thank you. A tag has been placed on Category:Railway stations served by Heathrow Connect requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi. Just a quick thanks for your edits to Ron Dennis. It's not a bad article, but still doesn't cover RD fully. It's nice to see someone taking an interest and is a reminder for me to get back to it. Mark83 (talk) 12:09, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
