BAA[edit]

Hi. The copy and paste move of BAA plc and BAA Limited was the wrong way to go about that. You should have simply used the move button (above the title of the page). As it is the whole page history stays at BAA plc and BAA Limited has no page history at all. A move moves the article, its history and its talk page.

Secondly these edits were about the biggest changes you can make. Normally edit summaries are considered necessary to let others know what you are doing and why. However for such edits, edit summaries are essential in my opinion.Mark83 18:37, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've now fixed this issue. Please don't move a page by copying and pasting again. Thanks. Mark83 18:47, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Forbes-Sempill[edit]

I note your old edits to Forbes Baronets and Lord Sempill re/ the succession dispute - I've just written an article on Sir Ewan, which may interest you... Sir Ewan Forbes, 11th Baronet. A very interesting case. Shimgray | talk | 21:10, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Irony?[edit]

Definitely. I hang my head in shame. Thanks for pointing it out, i'll go round and change them. Owain.davies 19:58, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion on Eternals[edit]

I started a discussion on the eternals talk page, I would like to have a discussion about what the official rules are for cast listing for films are. I do not condone edit warring. WeGotThatBeduguhuc (talk) 12:12, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies[edit]

I want to apologize for this edit summary, which was out of line. You were making a good faith effort to prevent edit-warring and there was no reason for me to react that way. - Aoidh (talk) 18:05, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, no problem. Although I have a masters' degree in physics it wasn't immediately obvious that the other editor was vandalizing the page. So in that respect it was difficult to judge, and I thought warning wouldn't cause harm. Thanks for all your hard work here. Poojean (talk) 20:45, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Guidance for maintaining wikipedia Page[edit]

Hi ! Hope you and your family are safe and healthy !

I wanted your guidance on maintaining Mr J C Chaudhry's wikipedia page. I believe you had suggested for deletion of the same. Your guidance would be really appreciated. 182.74.125.242 (talk) 06:30, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi anon, regarding maintenance or expanding the article: I can't really provide too many hints other than what is listed at WP:N and particularly WP:NBIO. I have no experience with numerology, Indian educational service providers, or shrines, so to be honest I cannot judge significance or contribute specifics. However, it is listed for deletion in a public way so that editors with those interests can contribute reliable third party sources and make a case that the article is notable and should be kept. It is not up to me alone to strictly determine whether the subject is notable enough for an article or not, but the evidence provided so far (third party sources) seems to indicate that it is not. More general guidance: I would say that coordinating editing outside of Wikipedia between different accounts and IPs, can be considered a form of sockpuppetry (WP:MEAT), so do not do this. As a further point, editing when you have a conflict of interest, such as when you know the subject personally, is not advised (WP:COI); many Wikipedians are hyper-aware of this. Not saying you are biased necessarily, but the appearance of bias can be fatal for any edits or interests you have on Wikipedia. Hope that helps. Poojean (talk) 11:53, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you - Can you please help in removing the delectation request. will work on editing the profile and removing the promotional content if any — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronald Bii (talkcontribs) 06:28, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
