Ostoja Danielewicz

If you wish to help then revert this redirect in proper way. I know that cut and past is wrong but I can not see any alternative. Can You help to revert it back to "ostoja Danielewicz"? If not, please do not change anything since I will ask admin to help with this issue. Camdan (talk) 11:15, 19 September 2020 (UTC
@Camdan: I think you need someone with the page mover right, look at WP:RM. I suggest you return both articles to be without the cut and paste move and then request a proper move.Pikavoom (talk) 09:19, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
Ok, thank You for Your kind comment and help. Im not familiar with this so I dont know what to do although I will try to follow Your instruction. I dont understand why I can not undo the redirect. Kind regards, Camdan (talk) 11:29, 19 September 2020 (UTC
@Camdan:, I suggest you follow WP:RM#CM. User:Staszek Lem moved it to begin with because they thought it consistent with others in Category:Polish noble families. I myself have no opinion on the correct name, I reverted the cut and paste move because it was cut and paste, not because I have a position on which title is right. Pikavoom (talk) 09:37, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
Yes, I fully understand Your revert, You did correct thing - no problem here. User:Staszek Lem have been told to not redirect, move or delate without discussion. This because he is going around and do changes in different art. without having any sources, posting false info. I think I need admin help here. Camdan (talk) 11:47, 19 September 2020 (UTC
I followed Your kind suggestion and it was fixed in minutes. Many thanks for Your guidance and help! Camdan (talk) 17:16, 19 September 2020 (UTC

Testing RedWarn

You can test RedWarn at User:Sandbox for user warnings. Hope this helps, Ed talk! 08:51, 6 October 2020 (UTC)

@Ed6767:, it doesn't help me in this case, as I was curious as to what level RedWarn was defaulting on my user page (which has received a number of warnings - all placed here in error - and all reverted by those who placed them) - I was trying to test not what it would leave on User:Sandbox for user warnings, but on my page. Pikavoom (talk) 08:55, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
I'll look into this. Many thanks Ed talk! 09:30, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
Looks like RedWarn isn't detecting any warnings on your page, so it'll default to a level 1 warning. RedWarn never automatically selects "ONLY warning"/level 4im. These must be selected manually. Eddemyed (talk) 10:55, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
Thank you. Pikavoom (talk) 09:20, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

"No page"?

Can you please explain this edit summary? The page exists, and it does have a section concerning the material you deleted. ☆ Bri (talk) 08:44, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

I was reacting to the addition of Jory Payne, who has no page on Wikipedia. Pikavoom (talk) 09:12, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Oh, thanks, I didn't scroll down and see that. ☆ Bri (talk) 09:46, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
The Onision content probably should have a cited source, and should probably not be in Gig Harbor unless it is in the lead of the Unison article, but I was looking at the latter two edits by the IP when making the revert ([1], [2]). Pikavoom (talk) 09:50, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

Request for prototype testing

Hello there!

My name is AVardhana (WMF) (talk) 00:10, 1 April 2021 (UTC), and I recently joined The Wikimedia Foundation and am writing to invite you to participate in a user testing study that I'm currently conducting for The Wikipedia Library team. I noticed you've been an editor on Wikipedia so I thought I would reach out to see if you're interested in testing a prototype of the library's new Homepage?

This would involve my emailing you the prototype with a list of instructions and questions. The purpose of the study is to get a better understanding of what people think of the new Homepage design! If you're interested, please let me know here or feel free to email me at avardhana@wikimedia.org, and I'll be in touch via email! If you have any questions, I am happy to answer them.

Thank you, Aishwarya

im new

hey man I don't mean to edit your page. can you tell me how to chat with you im new.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Adil-Must (talkcontribs)

@Adil-Must: the way to talk is to post on someone's talk page, or ping them to yours, but usually in a new section not in the middle of text. Please sign your posts with four ~ marks at the end, this places your name and date at the end of the message. Pikavoom (talk) 07:45, 23 June 2021 (UTC)

On 7 November 2021, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Astroworld Festival crowd crush, which you created. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. PFHLai (talk) 05:02, 7 November 2021 (UTC)

Acmo Network

My page was rejected on the grounds of being a promoting page. However, it provides information about company services as well as its assets. our company was founded in 2018. As of now our source of information is just the website of company itself and other websites related to its assets. In reference section, i have linked the content of page to these websites which might have been seen as promotion of company but it was not intentional. Since there is no other source of information available besides website of company and its assets, what should i use in the reference section which does not seem to be promotional. Please, suggest any other ideas for the article so that it will be more encyclopedic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Romisa Akhtar (talkcontribs) 15:03, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

The website of the company is promotional. You need reliable, third party, critical sources. Sources that cover bad aspects of the company, not just good aspects. Pikavoom (talk) 15:28, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

Revert on Chevrolet Corvette C8

Regardless of whether the account is a sock or not, in automotive articles the conversion template is almost always exclusively used so that readers using imperial & metric units can understand, hope this helps. For example take a look at the variable outputs at Mazzanti Evantra, it would take me ages to manually convert them into their respective units rather than just using a handy template. Hope this helps. Obama gaming (talk) 23:58, 1 January 2022 (UTC)

I revert because of WP:DENY, if someone else takes responsibility for the sock's edits after vetting them that is great. Pikavoom Talk 06:14, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
Oh yep see where you're coming from, just wanted to let you know what the general consensus was regarding automotive articles is (I assume you do) but it doesn't hurt to just give a heads up. Obama gaming (talk) 08:22, 4 January 2022 (UTC)

DYK for Antonette Wemyss Gorman

On 8 March 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Antonette Wemyss Gorman, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Antonette Wemyss Gorman (pictured), the first woman to fill a combat role in the Caribbean, was promoted to rear admiral and is Chief of Defence Staff of the Jamaica Defence Force? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Antonette Wemyss Gorman. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Antonette Wemyss Gorman), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

A tag has been placed on Eric Farnsworth requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Revert

Sock or no sock, but this seems like an unnecessary edit. Sources are a good thing. Debresser (talk) 16:44, 19 May 2022 (UTC)

@Debresser: I do not have the Rappel and Barnai books, and I do not AGF towards socks. If you do, and you check that the sources say what the sock says they do, then please do reinstate the edit. Pikavoom Talk 13:51, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for your reply, which was precisely what is should have been. Debresser (talk) 18:29, 21 May 2022 (UTC)

Thanks

Hi Pikavoom - hope you are well. Thanks for dealing with those sock reverts. Much appreciated. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 06:55, 12 April 2022 (UTC)

TMKOC

I Don't know if you are Indian or not but kindly don't remove episode section from the page. It's needed because show has more than 3500+ episodes. How would people know the story?. 110.224.167.39 (talk) 10:52, 31 May 2022 (UTC)

Hey there! I think the story is important, but it needs to be condensed down much more. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and should have a short summary of a topic. Wikipedia can't list every episode out of 3,500 with a summary, that's simply too much. Pikavoom Talk 10:56, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
