AfD Nomination: Y Lolfa[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Y Lolfa meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Y Lolfa. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? October 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Y Lolfa, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 09:48, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Y Lolfa. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jim1138 (talk) 09:59, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a few references to the article as requested and was shocked that a third party, Plyrstar93, has now called this "disruptive" and "vandalizing" and has stopped publication. I would be most grateful for your help in restoring the entry which I was only trying to improve as asked.Paula Evans (talk) 15:42, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Paula. The warning given below by PlyrStar93 is incorrect and inappropriate. Your edits were neither disruptive nor vandalizing. You are not at risk of being blocked from editing. I sympathize with your predicament. I think PlyrStar93 reverted one of your edits using a tool called Huggle. He or she has used it incorrectly and it has automatically pasted its standard warning message into your Talk page. However, this is not intended to excuse PlyrStar93 from his or her inappropriate edit. Those of us who edit on Wikipedia are fully accountable for every word we place here and it would not be acceptable to try to blame Huggle for inappropriate warnings.
I have raised the issue with PlyrStar93 and asked him, or her, to return to your Talk page and erase the inappropriate warning. See my diff. Regards. Dolphin (t) 12:08, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hallo Dolphin51. Thanks for your words which have restored my confidence in Wikipedia. The entry has now been tidied up once more.Paula Evans (talk) 15:31, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I raised the issue with PlyrStar93 a week ago and asked him to erase his allegations and warning. They were highly inappropriate. PlyrStar93 has not done so, so I have now erased it for him. On behalf of all sensitive and responsible Users I apologise for you receiving such demeaning allegations, and such a gratuitous warning. Best wishes for your future editing at Wikipedia! Y Lolfa[edit]

Please see wp:NOTPROMOTION. I undid your edit to Y Lolfa as it was unreferenced. Adding references is how we ensure that content is valid. Without references, a reader can not easily validate information and there is no presumption of accuracy. To add a reference, please read Help:Referencing for beginners and Help:footnotes. There is a tool that can help: See wp:RefToolbar/2.0. This is covered by the Wikipedia policy of wp:verifiability (WP:V). Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources (RS). Per WP:V unsourced content can be removed. Your edits are saved in the wp:page history. Please add references when you restore the content. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 10:00, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
