mentioning XYZ2023 on Shetland (TV series) Revision history[edit]

The diff, that made you think, I "put the number 7 in Billy's series bracket", was just a revert in order to avoid the change saying, that Mark Bonnar participated only in series 1–7. Hi Panda815! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Phillip Schofield several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Phillip Schofield, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. I am aware of the edit war policy! Thanks very much for the reminder though. I am more than happy to take it to the talk page, as is recommended, however, reversions of my edit seem to be done by lots of different users and with no reason provided. Therefore it seems that it wouldn't be so easy to have a discussion as those users aren't actually looking at my reasoning that is already there. This means that a talk page article may not gain any traction and could go unnoticed.

Those were my reasons for not going to talk page and continually reverting. Hope that helps you understand where I'm coming from!
