Colin Hatch

Hi, I have nominated Colin Hatch to be restored as the AFD result was a clear No Consensus vote. Join the discussion if you want to, Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2011_April_6#Colin_hatch.--BabbaQ (talk) 18:34, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

It's a clear overturn for me. The process wasn't even conducted properly! Orphan Wiki 20:16, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Looks like it's been re-listed. I'll comment on it later. Orphan Wiki 01:21, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

Hi

Colin Hatch has been reopened. If you feel like it join the discussion.--BabbaQ (talk) 07:44, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

Dammit, I've been extraordinarily busy over the last few days, and my activity has been relatively low, giving me no chance to have a look. Never mind, you can't win 'em all. All the best, Orphan Wiki 10:55, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

My RfA

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you very much for supporting me in my recent RfA. Even though it was unsuccessful, I appreciate your trust. With much gratitude, jsfouche ☽☾Talk 02:05, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

No problem my friend. :) :) Orphan Wiki 10:21, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

Who do you think you are?

Yesterday when I logged in I found a message from you accusing me of having made a dubious edit. I have never edited contra the Wikipedia guide lines or spirit, so I find your accusation both bewildering and insulting. It is particularly insulting as you did not specify what I had supposedly done. If you disagree with one of my edits then challenge it there where I have made it and not in the form of a unsubstantiated denounciation. Thony C. (talk) 07:59, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

What are you talking about? I haven't given you a warning at all. I've never even edited your talk page! No idea what you're on about. Orphan Wiki 10:15, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

On Saturday morning (July 23) as I logged in I got a message in your name accusing me of having made a dubious edit and warning me that my future behaviour was under observation. When I used the link to your user page to find out who had sent this message the message then disappeared! If as you say you did not send the message then it would appear that your account has been hacked! I have no idea what the procedure is in such a case, do you? If as you say you are innocent then I apologise for calling you out but I was somewhat peeved by unjust accusationThony C. (talk) 18:18, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Well I would like to assure you I did no such thing. You can look at your talk page history if you want, and you'll find the only edits I made to your page were today, when I posted the talkback template. I made no edits on the 23rd, or at any other time. You can be certain of that. You are an experienced editor, and I would think twice before issuing you with a vandal warning, believe me... My account has not made any edits without my knowledge, so as far as I'm aware, I've not been hacked either. Orphan Wiki 19:48, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

You could do with one of these...

A beer on me!
Here's a beer for your fine efforts on improving Wikipedia! Cheers! --BabbaQ (talk) 11:03, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
Thank you very much, my friend. I do indeed need one of these. Just taking a break from regular Wikipedia editing lately. Need a rest from it. It won't be forever :) Orphan Wiki 21:41, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

Hi

If you get the chance take a look at the AfD for 2011 failed Gothenburg terrorist attack.--BabbaQ (talk) 14:55, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi mate, sorry about this, I have only just got your message, because I've been rather inactive on Wikipedia lately. I'm just taking a break from regular editing for the moment, but I will return properly very soon. Then I'll restore my userpage and you can forward the AfDs onto me again. In the meantime, all the very best, Orphan Wiki 09:24, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

STiki: A new version and a thank you!

Greetings Orphan Wiki. As the developer of the STiki anti-vandal tool, I would like to thank you for recent and non-trivial use of my software. Whether you just tried out the tool briefly or have been a long-term participant, I appreciate your efforts (as I am sure does the entire Wikipedia community)!

I write to inform you of a new version of the software (link goes to list of new features). This version addresses multiple long-term issues that I am happy to put behind us. Try it out! Provide some feedback!

The STiki project is also always seeking collaborators. In particular, we are seeking non-technical colleagues. Tasks like publicity, talk-page maintenance, advertisement, and barn-star distribution are a burden to technical development. If you are interested, write me at my talk page or STiki's talk page.

As STiki approaches two significant thresholds: (1) 100,000 revert actions and (2) 400 unique users -- I hope to have your support in continuing the efficient fight against unconstructive editing. Thanks, West.andrew.g (talk) 00:01, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Cheers, I'll check it out. Orphan Wiki (talk) 10:26, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
