Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added such as to the page François Couperin do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Graham87 15:39, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:55, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

August 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Please stop using Wikipedia to advertise Knol. That is not what the VPP is for. In addition, Wikipedia is not a soapbox or forum for you to voice your opinions.ROUX 17:06, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Wikipedia:Village pump (policy). Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. In addition, stop spamming for Knol. Go there and use it if you love it, stop advertising it here.ROUX 14:55, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion of external links at WP:CM[edit]

Hello, rather than have these edits and reverts back and forth, I've taken the editorial dispute to a larger forum. Please feel free to weigh in at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Classical_music#External_links_of_scores. DavidRF (talk) 01:09, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
