Okay, you're going to have to slow down and learn about editing on Wikipedia before you will succeed in getting edits to stick to this page. Any additions must be supported with reference to reliable sources. And if it works out that you are here simply to use this page as a form of advertising for this institution, you will likely end up blocked from editing. regards, Nomoskedasticity (talk) 08:59, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

September 2009[edit]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to European University, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 09:18, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on European University. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 09:20, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article European University, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. This message is per your note on my talk page stating that you work for them. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 09:41, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 10:31, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

I have indefinitely blocked you. Either you, or someone you know, has been using another account to make similar edits to the same articles. This is not allowed per our policy on sock puppetry. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Peter Symonds (talkcontribs)

What are you talking about????? I didn't touch the article since the last time we discuss. Check the history article and you will see that I didn't make any change after we discuss. The last modified was made from the same administrators. Please read the article history and don't try to suppose things. We clearly starting to see the probability you work for the competition, we had the similar modify from user:78.20.208.239 months ago, we know that this IP coming from close competition in Antwerp (the same modification you made. We starting suspect your work with them, too much coincidence. The last change I made was Yersterday, I don't know "Nomoskedasticity", "TerriersFan", "Qwfp" and "Xxanthippe" any of them are knowed by me. --Omrganews (talk) 14:51, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you look on my talk page, you will see that another editor, Orman1, also joined Wikipedia and made some edits very similar to yours -- removing the section on accreditation status, in particular: see here and compare to your own here. You have both acknowledged working for EU, and it is then suspected that you are likely coordinating your efforts here. In my personal view, it would be legitimate for ONE person from EU to contribute to the talk page for the article on EU, and if you are willing to commit to ensuring that this will be the case, you might be able to convince an administrator to unblock you (I am not an admin and cannot do it myself, and I was not the one who blocked you). Here is some text that will help:
If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 22:12, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|I never made changes with other account, I said before I'm working for the institution, but I'm not the only one. In this case was not me who made changes, I know who is Orman1 because work in the same institution but not in my department. I only use this user for EU, is right. But I never created other user and I don't want to create other one but I want to contribute in the discussion about the page. Probably there are others partner from the institutions trying to help but we are an international institution and I can't who is contributing and of course I can't know their user names. English is not my mother language and I was trying to read and understand the severals rules that wikipedia have, for these reason I want to be unblocked because my user is my identity in these topic and I want to resolve it with my user, I'm sure I followed all the instruction you posted me before}}--Omrganews (talk) 12:20, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You work for the institution and have been making edits that appear to be in the institution's interests but against Wikipedia's. I believe you, and probably your colleague too, have conflicts of interest and should not be editing that page, especially not to remove negative information or add positive information. What steps will you take to ensure this does not continue? Mangojuicetalk 15:03, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I understand, because I read the conflicts of interest and I understand the reason of that normative. I'm not going to modify the article if it necessary. But I have a question, I'm not going to delete negative information or add positive information, but can I contribute in corrections or something in this article? If the answer is NO, I'm going to understand and I will never modify this article. But if I can make limited changes I would like to know my limit. Thanks for your fast answer before. --Omrganews (talk) 15:50, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:BESTCOI. Basically, for simple errors of fact that no one would dispute, you can change those yourself. But for anything else, you should suggest it at the talk page. And don't resist if others undo your changes - you should allow the article to be maintained by others, and not try to control the situation. Mangojuicetalk 15:59, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I understand, thanks. So I know my limit, I'm not going to modify anything, if your want you can blocked me to modify this articles, not problem. I only need access to talk page and other discussion places. To avoid more problems I communicated to people work around me don't modify anything and they understand. But I only have contact with stuff of the campus that I work. As for me, I have clear and I will not modify nothing in dispute.--Omrganews (talk) 07:07, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I've unblocked you then. Mangojuicetalk 14:02, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks --Omrganews (talk) 23:30, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies, I thought I had unblocked you but I hadn't. You should be unblocked now. Mangojuicetalk 05:56, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
