I think you are on the right track with your improvements. As for justifying the article, I think it would be helpful to point out that if you have a pure compound in solution, and you know the specific rotation, then you can easily determine the concentration. After all, many people do that every day, for instance with bulk sugar solutions. --AJim (talk) 22:35, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
