Creating pages
I know I have mentioned this to you before, but if you are creating pages, you MUST cite some outside references. Not doing so leaves them wide open for deletion such as what has happened in the past. Recreating recently deleted articles without doing so, such as you did with Rochester Kings, is also criteria for a speedy deletion without further discussion (adding WP:GNG-worthy sources prevents the speedy deletion). Second, travel-only teams are notoriously difficult to presume any notability, as if they lack home games, their only coverage will be WP:ROUTINE game coverage from other teams and their own self-published WP:PRIMARY media. I will not nominate Austin Wild or Rochester Kings yet to give you time to work on them, but they need a lot of work to be considered notable. (In my opinion, the Kings might have some sources out there, but it is unlikely the Wild have much outside of a WP:NOTNEWS-style announcement.) Yosemiter (talk) 19:11, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

- Also, for better traceability on references/citations (such as for archiving and for bots to fix dead links) please use a citation template such as Template:Cite web. See this edit as an example. Though I should note, that is not a good source. It is a "What's happening" or a "Local events" section from a local news site, and is just a brief promotion for a game that never even took place. It is not announcement of the team paying at HEB and just sort of confirms that the team does actually exist (which we are not questioning).
Please read WP:GNG, WP:WHYN, WP:RS, and especially WP:SELFPUBLISHED about appropriate sourcing. WP:GNG Rule #1 is "Significant coverage" addresses the topic directly and in detail, so that no original research is needed to extract the content. Significant coverage is more than a trivial mention, but it does not need to be the main topic of the source material. Many of these articles are in clear violation of that rule as the only way to have any information on these non-media covered teams is through original research by us, which indicates non-notability. If, as you state, "Finding outside references is a VERY difficult task" for a modern sports team, then I would immediately question if it meets GNG. Yosemiter (talk) 23:47, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

- Because WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Just because something else is poorly sourced doesn't mean more poorly sourced (or entirely unsourced in some cases) articles should exist. I have been trying to clean up the many low-level football articles (as have other editors with other projects), but I can't get to everything. Sometimes, I find it is just easier to try to prevent in the first place, hence why I have messaged you about your creations on mutliple occasions (I really am trying to be collaborative, I do a lot of cleanup and MOS work on the minor league pages). I am simply just been asking you to excise more reference finding prior to choosing to create these articles.you have yet to convince me that you have read any of the wikilinks I have put in my comments that should thoroughly explain my Why. WP:GNG is very broad, but if you do not immediately find that there are at least two independent media articles from separate media outlets with significant coverage, then there is a good chance the subject should not have an article. (Is 10 minutes how long it takes to make each image, because looking into it, that seems to be your pace between image uploads.
