MSAgent update for Windows8/8.1+

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-install-microsoft-agent-in-windows-8-x64/97737a87-510d-4043-9048-b2cc562a872f - This url was recently added to the MSAgents page but was taken off. It was added to compliment the information regarding MSAgents on Windows 7. The update is free of charge and made available via a Microsoft forum. So it's a legitimate update for Microsoft Windows 8/8.1+. Please add it to the page for the benefit of Wikipedia users. I am personally using the update on Windows 11. It's for 32bit and 64bit Windows. I'm using 64bit Windows. It works fine using DeskBot freeware program. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.50.216.103 (talk) 11:00, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

In order to keep this discussion in one place, I have replied to you at Talk:Microsoft_Agent#MSAgent_update_for_Windows_8/8.1+. – NJD-DE (talk) 11:33, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

Just a few questions

Hello Njd-de,
Hope you have seen my recent activities and get the reason I am looking for.
It was quoted that, "If the link is keeping you from editing Spacious, you can make a whitelist request so that the corp link can remain there"
So is it possible now?
There is no reason to believe it will be spammed again to articles. It was just a mistake. With due respect to the Wikipedia rules, it will never happen in the future.
And if I disclose it to MediaWiki_talk:Spam-blacklist#spacious.hk then can I get any help to get away from this trouble?

Thanks,
Mahfuj. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MahfujNahid (talkcontribs) 21:05, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

I don't understand which trouble you are referring to, MahfujNahid. The URL is blacklisted, and there's no need for this to be changed. In any case, please keep things in one place at MediaWiki_talk:Spam-blacklist#spacious.hk. – NJD-DE (talk) 21:41, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

Avant un Rêve

Hello, how are you? Thank you for your interest in my article about the album Avant un Rêve. May I ask you why you have removed it? Is it for editing, or another purpose? Thank you in advance for your reply. AnnSo Ma — Preceding unsigned comment added by AnnSo Ma (talkcontribs) 10:51, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello AnnSo Ma, the article created on Avant Un Rêve by PrinceofJazz was not ready to be published in article space. It needs references that demonstrate significant coverage in reliable sources. You can improve the article in draft space at Draft:Avant Un Rêve, and submit it for review once you think it's ready. – NJD-DE (talk) 11:02, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

Conflict of interest response

Apologies for not noticing the request for an explanation before proceeding editing the article for "Automobilista 2". I am not editing the content itself if you review diffs. I noticed that the collapsed sections do not work correctly in mobile, everything was under "Development". I am not being compensated for this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ArtVandelayImportExport (talkcontribs) 13:35, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

Hi ArtVandelayImportExport, no worries. Thanks for reaching out to me, and clarifying that you are not being compensated for the edits. Please note that a COI can also exist without financial interests/compensation. Also if you would be employed by the game studio and not receiving compensation for the edits, you would still be considered as a paid editor. And btw any edit - even without actual content change - is considered as editing the article. Anyways, happy editing! – NJD-DE (talk) 13:40, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
Understood, thanks for the clarification! It is indeed a bigger grey area than I thought at first. Having reviewed the COI guidelines, I can see where this is coming from. After seeing the article being filled out by community, my own judgement simply did not think a simple heading structure and HTML clean up for better readability (more "Wiki-like") would be a problem and thought I'd help out a bit. But it is indeed best if I don't here and on some other impacted articles. After your last edits I can understand what the big revert was about as well, and it's readable on my mobile browser. I shouldn't have interfered with that in the first place. I will note my COI status if I take part in talk page discussion concerning impacted articles, but by definition I am indeed not a paid editor. So can we consider this matter closed? Either way happy holidays! ArtVandelayImportExport (talk) 17:41, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
I am glad to hear you reviewed the guidelines. Unfortunately, not many do. I'm sorry that my revert undid your attempt at making things more readable for mobile browsers. If I didn't yet, then would like to express a belated welcome to Wikipedia. In case you come across any questions, feel free to reach out to me, or ask one of the other experienced users at the teahouse. Happy holidays to you too!! – NJD-DE (talk) 18:16, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
No worries, I understand that it's the nature of co-creation. Thank you for the kind welcome! No need to respond, we can end this thread. :-). ArtVandelayImportExport (talk) 19:01, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

AMS 2 page

Dear Njd-de,

I wanted to write a better page for AMS 2. With 100% objective. No subjective stuff, good sources, no opinions, no nothing. Just 100% how it is. With good, bad and neutral things. But I seems you think I am COI. Perhaps I should have chosen my username better. Not smart of me. I can live with deleting of changelogs, but not with removing game modes, features, ca and track-roster and the reception. I am sad. I put hours in it in the layout, being 100% objective and eventually people started to noticing the AMS 2 wiki was updated and started to add more things, like Carguy whom surprisely added better sentences due his English-skills. I also compared wiki pages like rFactor 2, ACC, AC, etc and 'mine' AMS 2 and they were all similar. With similar sections and senctences. Also they feature car-and track roster as well, so why AMS 2 wiki page not?

I wrote something on my userpage.

I wish you a merry Christmas,

Marius — Preceding unsigned comment added by MariusAMS2 (talkcontribs) 15:07, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

Hi MariusAMS2. Of course you can include more information, e.g. about features. We need independent, reliable sources for them though. – NJD-DE (talk) 18:12, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
Hi Njd-de Thank you. For example, AMS2carinfo is an independent source. It has all the cars that are in the game, etc. These info about features, car and tracks are not written in books nor in newspapers. Since Racing simulation is a niche it's often reviewed and recorded on youtube or twitch by people, since that's not allowed I can't use that either. I tried to find my best to use the best sources, etc. It's hard to find good source for such a niche game, other than some webistes and the official website of the developers / game. I just want to make a similar wiki page for AMS 2 that looks like the generic gaming wikipages all over wikipedia, but I want to do my best to stay 100% objective. Just summing up the roster, cars, new updates for these stuff, a neutral reception and refraining from words and sentences that beautifying the game or developers. If I compare AMS 2 wiki page I made (so without the changelogs) to rFactor 2, Assetto Corsa, etc the difference is huge because those pages are do have biased fanboyism, and make the games seems more positive than they are. Currently I am awaiting a username change, because I am not working nor paid by Reiza Studio's. My username was not a cleverthing to pick.
Thank you for reading! I hope we can coooperate and make this wiki page even better than before.
MariusAMS2 (talk) 18:25, 18 December 2021 (UTC)MariusAMS2
Changing your username is not a bad idea. Will definitely avoid some confusion! Regarding ams2cars.info I'm afraid it falls under the category of user generated content, and thus not considered a reliable source.. – NJD-DE (talk) 18:36, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

It's one of these times when I don't know whether to laugh or cry... Unfortunately, sometimes Wikipedia and my corporate job aren't too different. Maybe I'm crazy but I enjoy both of em. Anyways, I was just about to post this message when I noticed they created an unblock request. So S0091, which advertising did you see? :D – NJD-DE (talk) 01:53, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
Well, Njd-de, You can not make decisions based on what your brain believes is true. so not now I am not sure. Hmmm.... :) S0091 (talk) 02:02, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
If my brain believes this to be true, can it then decide to no longer make decisions based on what it believes true? I'm afraid my brain doesn't know how to proceed other than ignoring their helpful advice. – NJD-DE (talk) 02:22, 19 December 2021 (UTC)

Hey I got your mail

I’m sorry I didn’t respond there, The reason is detailed in this essay. There was nothing wrong with your response, (IMO) the problem is, certain types of wiki coding affect our MediaWiki software in very unique ways. Whilst I dislike coding, I’m fairly proficient in coding in (Wikipedia Language), I really do not know how that new editor came across that sort of coding, Infact I was having dinner when I came across the question and literally choked, as I wondered how a new user knew to use that sort of coding. Celestina007 (talk) 15:03, 19 December 2021 (UTC)

Yeah no worries, totally understand it. I was extremely surprised as well to be honest when I saw them trying to use these magic words, but it's not the first time I see that. For some reason this goes along with the misconception that Wikipedia is a webhost, and these users always believe that by using such magic words their article will show up on Google as search result #1 instantly. I don't know where they have this from but it doesn't work anyway. As far as I remember the index magic word and the corresponding template do not work in draft or user space, and only work in article space if the article is patrolled or exists longer than 90 days. – NJD-DE (talk) 19:59, 19 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello!

Thanks for the comments. I appreciate your work, I don't see the reasons to remove all my amendments and additions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lavocedelcoro (talkcontribs) 00:06, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

Hello Lavocedelcoro. I reverted your edits, as I didn't see any inline references to reliable sources. This article is in a bad shape already, and we shouldn't add more improperly sourced content on top. – NJD-DE (talk) 00:29, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

About the edits you reversed

Hi, am not sure how I am supposed to respond to your notification, but I wanted to ensure you that the articles I have linked are not biased and my only motivation is to inform the public. It is simply information from a journal which offers free evidence-based peer-reviewed research. I hope the changes are kept, thank you. Olga Nottmeyer (talk) 13:14, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Olga Nottmeyer. The message on your talkpage is quite clear, and it should be quite simple to respond to it as well. Quoting the two probably most important sentences of my previous message:
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists.
Whatever you say your motivation was, the changes will remain reverted for now. – NJD-DE (talk) 13:33, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

Lahore Grammar School - edits removed

Hi Njd-de, Just wanted to ask why my edits were removed from the page 'Lahore Grammar School'? The information posted was not defamatory or libellous as this is what occurred, as outlined by various news sources, including MangoBaaz and Pakistan Today. A response as soon as is convenient would be much appreciated.

Hi AmmarHammadKhan, I reverted your edits as you didn't provide references to reliable sources. While I am writing this I also noticed you apparently are personally involved in this. As such you have a conflict of interest, and are strongly discouraged from editing the article directly. Instead you may request edits on the article talk page. I will leave a note on your personal talk page with further info. – NJD-DE (talk) 19:09, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

Rumelian Romani

Another one who annoys me, what's the name in romani for rumeli romanes in your opinion, not Rumelijake? You deleted it, you should know then another name, isnt it? just keep writing about us roma ... we know our dialects and that's enough, the english wikipedia has some users who think they are gods. e.g. all roma from the former yugoslavia have their own page, only the roma from montenegro is redirected to the main page of the romani every time by the same users ... where is the point? I'm tired of ... --Nalanidil (talk) 23:28, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

Hello Nalanidil, it was not my intention to annoy you, and there's no need to hold a grudge against me. I had even been writing a replacement for the templated-warning, but didn't publish as your removal was quicker. Based on the Bareurls-template removal I was honestly surprised to see that you have your account since over six years already.
Anyway, regarding "Rumelijake Romanes": you added that term along with a reference linking to https://glottolog.org/resource/languoid/id/pasp1238. I opened that website and nowhere there it said "Rumelijake Romanes". Why on earth would you add this and add a reference, when that reference doesn't verify it?
I don't know the full story about that article that you say is being redirected. I do however have the impression you are close to (or already in the middle of) a WP:BATTLEGROUND situation. – NJD-DE (talk) 23:42, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

Reasons for reverting edit about Alex Ludwig?

What are the reasons? Maria G Hammer (talk) 19:16, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Maria G Hammer, I mentioned some of the reasons already in the edit summaries, but here's some more info:
  • File:Screenshot 20220108-174347 Samsung Internet.jpg was a copyright violation (Facebook).
  • Infobox and lead should mention what they are most known for. That's not him being an athlete or his single.
  • Adding unnecessary external links to Youtube.
  • opened the gates of Hollywood for him is not very encyclopedic.
Hope that explains it. In case you have any affiliation with Alexander Ludwig, you may have a conflict of interest and should not edit the article directly but instead propose changes on the article talk page. Let me know if you have any questions. – NJD-DE (talk) 23:47, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Mega Image Article

Hello I would like to rephrase what I said as you do not seem to understand. The mega Image article has very little information on it and a article going into depth on what they sell could be very useful for certain people out there, I am not saying that it should be reverted to the article made by the User 24.50.234.99 Because his citing and grammer was an issue. But I think it needs to be REWRITTEN, not REMOVED. I would like to ask of you if you are open to having a new article in place describing what Mega Image sells with cited information and good word structure. This wikipedia article is in dire need of more information and your word on what would make this article better and more informational would be very helpful. And for context I did not make that article for Products they sell Thankyou hope to hear back. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BeamingNG (talkcontribs) 22:48, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi BeamingNG, lack of references and bad grammar were an issue. But honestly, it's also completely unnecessary to mention that Mega Image sells Tomatoes, bread and cheese, and Cleaning supply's for a residencial home like paper towels, sponges, hygienic paper, dish soap. It's chain of supermarkets in Romania, and not a kiosk on top of Mount Everest. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a product catalogue. Also verifiability does matter. An article is better without random unsourced information than with it. If you do wish to edit here once your block expires, then it might be useful for you to familiarize yourself with some of the policies and guidelines in the meantime. – NJD-DE (talk) 23:28, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Reverting Vaxart's Updates

Curious why you are reverting Vaxart's Wiki page after I've updated with an image of the HQ (in which I took, so no copyright infringement)? I have cited all of my sources for updating their press releases. Can you please stop?— Preceding unsigned comment added by BGirST (talkcontribs) 19:33, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

Hello BGirST, please have a look at your user talk page first, and disclose whether you have any conflict of interest due to being affiliated to that company, or being directly or indirectly compensated by them. Regarding the reverted edits: Clearly you didn't just add an image of their HQ. Wikipedia is not interested in promotional content based on press releases. Edits should preferably be referenced with independent, reliable sources. For medical-related content there's specific guidelines at WP:MEDRS. (Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four keyboard tildes like this: ~~~~. Or, you can use the [ reply ] button, which automatically signs posts.)NJD-DE (talk) 19:38, 9 January 2022 (UTC)
I have updated my talk page to disclose that own stock in this company, but that I am not receiving any payment for these edits. The press releases were thoughtfully chosen to reflect the updates of the company, key dates on the development of a COVID 19 vaccine. It does not appear that anyone has edited their page since 2019. I will refrain from posting any press releases and medical content, can I please update the image of their HQ? I am new to this, so my apologies if I was not within the scope of the rules and will be more mindful. Thank you.— Preceding unsigned comment added by BGirST (talkcontribs) 19:54, 9 January 2022 (UTC)
It can happen that article's are not being updated. However that doesn't lower the verification standards. For that reason I also reverted the updated number of employees. The number of LinkedIn profiles stating that they are employed at a company cannot be used as a reference in Wikipedia articles. Also most content out there, including press releases, is protected by copyright. Copyrighted content is not allowed to be copied into articles. – NJD-DE (talk) 21:10, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

Boba Fett

I saw it said there was an error to something to my edit, but isn’t Star Wars.com considered a primary source? ― Kaleeb18TalkCaleb 20:56, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Kaleeb18, I didn't object the removal of a primary source, although there may be good reasons to use one per WP:PRIMARY. E.g. "an article about a musician may cite discographies and track listings published by the record label".
Have a closer look at your edit again though. I highlighted the spot here for convenience: <ref>{{Cite web|last=Williams|first=Jordan|date=December 27, 2021|title=How Many Episodes Of Book of Boba Fett (And When The Finale Releases)|url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Book_of_Boba_Fett#/editor/13|url-status=live|access-date=January 11, 2022|website=Screen Rant}}</ref>. – NJD-DE (talk) 22:20, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
ohhhhhh oops... Thank you for fixing my mistake. So do you think I should switch that source for the primary one because its a reference for this sentence in the section release. "that will be released weekly until February 9, 2022." ― Kaleeb18TalkCaleb 00:33, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
No worries, Kaleeb18. I think it would depend on what the other reference is. Primary sources aren't great usually, but sometimes better than the other sources. And if it's just about the simple fact of how many episodes are going to be released then probably the company releasing them knows best. Although if course if they are known for vaporware then probably using secondary sources would be better.
Honestly I just agf-reverted your edit because I saw that weird URL. Your call here how to proceed :) – NJD-DE (talk) 19:46, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
Alright cool, thanks for helping me understand what I did wrong. ― Kaleeb18TalkCaleb 20:40, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

Reversed Mithril edit

Hi Njd-de,

Thank you for your message. I believe the source I provided is quite reliable, CMC is the world's most used cryptocurrency reference site. Information in my edit comes from MITHRIL's CMC listing page directly.

Let me know what you think,

Martin Dent (talk) 00:14, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Martin Dent, for the edit you made I would expect references that are far better and more reliable than coinmarketcap. It might be a good site to retrieve some financial values, but in my opinion is not good for assessing a subject's notability. I also tried to google Mithrilverse and couldn't find any coverage by independent, reliable sources. Please note that in case you have an external relationship with Mithrilverse or Mithril you may have a conflict of interest that needs to be disclosed. – NJD-DE (talk) 11:48, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
Thank you, I understand. I'm a developer for another metaverse project, no particular ties with Mithril. Since I know this space well and there's remarkably little information on wiki about metaverse projects, I thought it would be worthwhile to add the more notable ones. Some of these projects have 100M+ or even 1B+ USD valuations, but for most of them it'd be difficult to find a more independent reference than CMC.
I tried adding a smaller project like Mithrilverse first to test the waters, I don't want to spend too much time editing pages that would never pass review. Honestly I'm new here and not clear on every guideline. Perhaps I'll try later when metaverse adoption is more widespread. Martin Dent (talk) 12:20, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
Wait until there's significant, independent coverage in reliable sources. Just some phrases on CMC is really not enough. – NJD-DE (talk) 22:17, 16 January 2022 (UTC)

Re: Messages on my talk page

I am not sure if I'm doing this correctly- as I'm sure you've noticed, this has been my first time editing on Wikipedia. I have not meant to be disruptive in my editing; rather, I just wanted to correct and improve the pages of my local high schools. The Page County High School page specifically was error-ridden and outdated, and I wanted to fix that. I added some information that I knew because of my time at the school, not knowing that I needed to have hard sources to cite. I entirely take credit for that and admit that I should have done more research on necessary citations before adding my own information. Furthermore, I apologize for later adding sources that were not deemed up to standards. Even without the information that I added of my own accord, I really would like to rephrase some of the preexisting information on the page. I have no doubt that a quick read-through of the page as it stands currently will leave you agreeing that it is poorly written and greatly outdated- for example, referencing events that happened in 2010 as "Future," featuring an incorrect address for the school, etc.

As for Luray High School, I apologize for the photograph that I added and then deleted. I believe I mistakenly marked it as fair use, which you flagged it for. I should have added an explanation before confirming its removal, but I honestly wanted to quickly retrace my steps and remove the photo that I used when I should not have. In this, I recognize my mistake, and I would like to remove the photograph if these messages do not find my account blocked from editing.

(Apologies again, I just noticed that the last message left on my talk page, regarding disruptive editing, was not left by you.)

Thank you. Tediting (talk) 05:34, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Tediting, I understand you were just trying to improve the articles about these high schools, and I agree these two articles aren't in a great shape. Unfortunately outdated information is a common issue and resolving it is sometimes not that easy. The thing really is that we should have references to reliable sources when changing the article. If you are going to rephrase things, it would be nice ofc if you'd add references for the content we already have as well. However just rephrasing, and getting rid of phrases referring to e.g. the future when 2010 is meant is also ok. About the image don't worry it's fine. Image licensing is not an easy topic. Btw just removing the name of the file on the article didn't delete the image from Commons though. I took care of that however by marking it for speedy deletion there.
I hope you still like it on Wikipedia. I know it can be bit overwhelming in the beginning but let me tell you you'll get the hang out of it quickly. In case you have any questions, please let me know or head over to the teahouse where other experienced will happily answer your questions. Happy editing!! – NJD-DE (talk) 11:59, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

Thank you!! I appreciate the kind response. I do wish I had sources to add to the article, but the school being in such a small area doesn't provide much citable information. If I come across anything that could be useful, I'll be sure to add it :) Tediting (talk) 01:53, 19 January 2022 (UTC)

Tremaine page

Hi, thank you for reviewing the Marilyn Tremaine page I just tried to improve. Moving references to a bibliography section makes sense, and I can add a few more there, but the main problem is that the page with her resume on the Rudgers website is dead (and - like you - I cannot find an archive copy.) I could start citing the linkedin profile, but the good news is that I have a PDF of a 2019 resume in my archives but it is a resume sent to me by email and it is not published per-say. Is it possible to save the PDF in Wikimedia common and refer to that? I could not find guidance for this. I just interviewed the person (and no I am not paid for this) so I am confident about her birth year - still it was removed immediately. I also know why she moved back to the US in 1997 but that sentence was removed. I had provided sources for the husband's new prestigious appt in Princeton - which I personally think had a unfortunate effect on her career. I do not include that opinion but including the information about why she moved let people decide for themselves. Thank you for for help. I am not a regular Wikipedia editor so I really appreciate it. --Plaisant (talk) 01:37, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Plaisant, yeah I noticed you tried to improve it, and certainly it got a bit better. Majority of the content still needs references or better references for verification. And LinkedIN definitely isn't what we need here. Also when I did look at their profile, I wasn't able to verify the content. Maybe her profile isn't public. Citing a resume isn't great either. Btw do you have an external relationship to Tremaine? You said you are not being paid by them, but any other connection? Having an external relationship to an article subject and a conflict of interest is ok, but if this applies to you, then you'd need to disclose that and would be strongly encouraged to request edits on article talk page instead of editing the article directly. – NJD-DE (talk) 01:44, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
Hi NJD-DE. Thanks. Tremaine is a pioneer from my field of research so I know her and her work professionally but I don't think that it constitutes a conflict of interest. We never worked together, still I am now motivated to fix wikipedia page of people I know and preserve history. Now that I started, I really want to fix that page and better understand how things works, so I'll look for other internet sources.--Plaisant (talk) 04:32, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
Ahh that makes sense. Non-internet sources are fine ok btw. Just they should've been published in a reliable source. E.g. books or newspaper for which no online copy exist are totally fine. If you happen to have any questions, let me know. – NJD-DE (talk) 10:56, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
If you allow me to hint you at something: the references should go after the punctuation (WP:REFPUNC). So we want to use Correct sentence,<ref>Source 1</ref> and it continues.<ref>Source 2</ref> (displayed as Correctly formatted sentence,[1] and it continues.[2]) instead of Wrongly formatted sentence<ref>Source 1</ref>, and it continues<ref>Source 2</ref>. (displayed as Wrongly formatted sentence[3], and it continues[4].)
The reference list will look the same:

References

  1. ^ Source 1
  2. ^ Source 2
  3. ^ Source 1
  4. ^ Source 2

Reversing edits to Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos

Hello Njd-de. I'm not understanding the reason my edit of Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos's wikipedia page was reversed. I just added two sources to a uncited statement, those two sources were already being used in the 2022 Portuguese legislative election page. Could you elaborate the reason for the reverse? SadAttorney613 (talk) 18:50, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi SadAttorney613, a minute ago I left a message at your talk page. Unfortunately, there is a bug in Wikipedia's software and apparently when copying citations things may go wrong (see Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Templatestyles_edits for more details). In this case the infobox got duplicated. I have fixed it on that article before leaving you a message on your talk page. – NJD-DE (talk) 18:53, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
Oh okay. Thanks for fixing my edit then. SadAttorney613 (talk) 19:03, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

Hello, Njd-de,

When you tag pages for deletion, whether CSD, PROD or AFD/RFD/TFD/etc., you need to post a notification on the talk page of the page creator. I see that you are using Twinkle, which is great, so please check your Twinkle Preferences so that a) "Notify page creator" box is checked and b) every criteria of speedy deletion is selected as well. There are checkboxes for each criteria and they should all be selected as it doesn't really matter why a page has been tagged for speedy deletion, the page creator should still be informed of the deletion and the reason why so they don't keep repeating the same mistakes. Thank you for all of your contributions to the project! Liz Read! Talk! 21:33, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Liz, you are right about that, and usually I do notify the page creator. There have been few exceptions to this (mainly when it's spam or from socks). Just checked my CSD log as well, and honestly not sure though what happened reg. this Ankur Ghatge/Wikipedia:Ankur Ghatge/Draft:Ankur Ghatge mess. Will pay closer attention to notify page creators in the future. I appreciate you hinting me at this & thanks for your good work as admin here :) – NJD-DE (talk) 21:49, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

Thanks ToBeFree! I just went through some of my first edits back in 2019 and 2020, and gosh was I wet behind the ears back then. (Actually never knew until googling now that this idiom similar to the German "grün hinter den Ohren sein" exists.) Took me a while until I figured out user warnings and that WP:AIV exists. Ohh and that moment I learned about Twinkle. Can't imagine anymore using Wikipedia w/o the gadgets, tools and user scripts.
Thanks for being a great admin and your swift reactions ! It's great to work together with you. – NJD-DE (talk) 14:50, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
😄 Yeah, that German translation is a real used idiom, not just something from a dictionary. And I'm impressed as well about how quick things change and how quick people evolve in Internet communities. A year feels like a decade, ten years like a lifetime.

St. Charles Municipal Building

Hello !

I'm sorry I reverted your reversion of the BioShock info on the STC Municipal Building page. The last edit war attracted the attention of user Doncram who helped reach a compromise. Not sure if you have read all the background info with this one. I am not a professional editor or anything, but I have been doing research and writing for the St. Charles History Museum. I read the info regarding Verifiability (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Verifiability#Responsibility_for_providing_citations) and it states that a citation needed tag can be added until a reliable source can be found. I added the tag to this section until we can get an article published with the info. However, the Daily Herald, you can understand did not want to give column space to this trivia until a larger article about the Municipal Building would be written, most likely coinciding with the next major anniversary celebration. VerVynck (talk) 00:25, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

Hello VerVynck, thanks for reaching out to me. WP:BURDEN does mention In some cases, editors may object if you remove material without giving them time to provide references. Consider adding a citation needed tag as an interim step. Clearly the temporary better source needed or citation needed tag wouldn't mean more than two years though. Once something is published in reliable sources, the content can always be added again of course. Until then there's really no need or rush to include that section. – NJD-DE (talk) 00:36, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

If a timeframe is not stated, that would be your interpretation then ? No one deleted this info because of how long it has been on here, but rather because I drew attention to it because I wanted to add an image. Despite the traffic for the past two years, other editors who worked on the page did not take issue with it. My reasoning for wanting to include this info on the Wikipedia page is because this unfortunately is the most commonly used source anyone, be it a student or employee of the city, uses to reference the Municipal Building. Having the BioShock info here with the tag on it increases the likelihood that someone would publish what would qualify as a reliable source. Deleting it, relegates it back to obscurity. The game came out in 2007, it took me more than ten years to figure it out. As silly as it may be, this is an interesting fact about the building, and including the info on the page does no harm. We would probably have to wait until the 85th anniversary to get a newspaper article. Having the information removed from this page between now and then makes it likely to be forgotten besides in our museum records and to the BioShock superfans. Hopefully you understand my plea better than the other editor who objected to this, but I don't know what more I can do to present this. VerVynck (talk) 00:47, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

I do understand your point, and might also want to include such information in an article about a local place. I believe however in the Wikipedia practice of including content in articles based on reporting in reliable sources, and not the other way around. – NJD-DE (talk) 02:07, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

Reverse changes

I made updates on the wiki page for Hojjat Adeli. I do not understand why all the text and the links to resources was deleted. Can you check the history and reverse the change? Thanks in advance! Makerbot2022 (talk) 01:50, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Makerbot2022

Hi Makerbot2022, you added content without providing references to reliable sources. E.g. you added He is the recipient of over 70 awards and honors including six Honorary Doctorates, and Honorary Professorship at several Asian and European Universities. Where's the source mentioning these 70 awards? You can find the content still in the page history if you'd like to use it and add references. – NJD-DE (talk) 01:53, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Success think, ok understood. Please don't remove posts from talk pages though just because someone had pinged you there. Unless it's a personal attack or vandalism that's clearly not a good reason to remove comments by other users. If you don't like to be pinged, then there's other ways and methods to avoid/stop that from happening. I need to be enlightened on citing a source of Information

I updated a biography citing the source of the information (after confirming how true the information is) then I got a mail telling me the link was removed because it was deemed inappropriate. please I will like to know why it was removed to help guide me in creating/Editing contents. Hi Huge37, yes indeed I reverted your edits. Article content, especially in the case of biographies on living persons, need to be verifiable with references to reliable sources. The site you referenced in all your edits, knowledgebase.com.ng, is not a reliable source but an ad-infested content scraper. You can still find the edits you made in the article history. You can add it to the article again once you find reliable sources on it.– NJD-DE (talk) 21:24, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

In regard to your cleanups

Hi Ndj,

Thank you for clearing up some of my inaccuracies on both Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia itself. Furthermore, I still don't fully grasp how you get to copyright-free represent organisations if using their logo isn't allowed-- could you help me on this?

Cheers, FireFlyingly (talk) 03:59, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi FireFlyingly, you are asking about how to copyright-free represent organizations, just for me to understand: are you here in professional capacity by any chance ?
About usage of logos: in cases there's no copyright on them or they are below the threshold of originality they may be uploaded on Commons. Otherwise logos can be uploded to enwiki (! not Commons) under the non-free content policy (WP:NFC). – NJD-DE (talk) 16:35, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
Hi Ndj,
Oh, no! I'm a Wiki-layman and student expanding articles of choice, void of any professional occupation. By represent I mean to make sure an article about an organisation (or any other topic with a logo) appears nicely by including their logo, not to officially represent them in any way.
I'm glad you told me enwiki is the place to upload images to. I generally thought Wikimedia was the way to go, but they don't allow logos to be uploaded (as they are copyrighted, of course). Now with this cleared up, that's no longer a worry. Thanks again!
Kind regards, —FireFlyingly FireFlyingly (talk) 17:03, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
OK got it, FireFlyingly. Editing with a conflict of interest (and paid editing being a special form of that) is possible on Wikipedia, but there's certain policies and guidelines in place that would need to be followed. That's why I was asking you. But good that we got that cleared out. Also glad I could help you regarding the logo question.
Just a small note: in case you want to create an article, it's often a good idea to do so in Draft-space first. Someone will review it once you're ready, and you can avoid speedy deletions.
Happy editing & let me know if you have any questions, or head over to the WP:TEAHOUSE where other experienced editors are happy to help you. – NJD-DE (talk) 17:17, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

Your comment re the Islamic Reporting Initiative

Hi Njd-de, my apologies for not getting this right; I'm completely new to editing on Wikipedia and have not yet mastered how everything works! I am indeed a volunteer for the Islamic Reporting Initiative, which upon reading your message I have immediately stated on my user page. Please let me know if this is sufficient. Furthermore I was following instructions from "Skarmory" on how to make the article more neutral. As you can see, I have just made new changes (following Skarmory's kind suggestions for improvement) and only saw your message afterwards. Are you able to see my correspondence with "Skarmory", is that public? ..I'm confused what to do next - do I just wait? Should I now remove the 'edit request' message? ..I had actually placed the message as per Skarmory's suggestion, but have since made some substantial edits (following Skarmory's advice) so perhaps it's no longer needed? Many thanks for your help! Very much appreciated. Julianross CSR (talk) 00:02, 31 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Julianross CSR, no worries. We've all been newbies here in the beginning.
Thanks for disclosing your relation to the IRI. That disclosure works, and I have added a template about it to the article's talk page as well. I've seen your conversation with Skarmory (aside from emails there's only public conversations on Wikipedia). I think there was some misunderstanding on how to use the {{request edit}}–template. Technically speaking you can edit articles directly even when you have a COI (conflict of interest). That's strongly discouraged though and leads to very quick edit reverts. What Skarmory meant when they suggested using the template was that you place it on the article talk page, and explain there also the changes you'd like to make. I have closed it on the article talk page, as you only did the first part but no need to delete it now. Just for the future it might be better to indeed use the template and request the edits instead of making them yourself.
Sorry for the rather lengthy reply. Let me know in case is something unclear. – NJD-DE (talk) 00:11, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
FYI, all discussion has taken place on Wikipedia and on my talk page (which are public!), and I have not received any emails – any discussion on Wikipedia will always be public (unless I'm missing somewhere which doesn't immediately come to mind). Skarmory (talk • contribs) 00:32, 31 January 2022 (UTC)

Many thanks again Njd-de, very grateful for your help! Generally all clear now, I think. Obviously my main goal now is to resolve the issue of 'multiple issues' as stated at the top of the page, but I gather that's not something I'm able to fix myself then, so we just have to wait until one of the editors reviews the page, and then (I guess) will also remove that 'multiple issues' message at the top? Although I have since made changes with the specific goal of 'resolving' that issue, I obviously don't feel it's my place to remove the message.. if there is anything further I can do at this point, please let me know. Many thanks again & have a great day! Julianross CSR (talk) 13:01, 31 January 2022 (UTC)

Knowsthingsabout (talk) 03:19, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

That's factually incorrect. You added references to sites like these: https://www.theatlantic.com/author/kimberly-reyes/, https://www.jstor.org/stable/27032396, https://www.irishexaminer.com/opinion/commentanalysis/arid-40058636.html. It may have been that there was a source for the awards. References should however be placed behind the content they are supposed to back up. Not randomly after every single word. – NJD-DE (talk) 18:06, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

Would you help me to upload the picture?

Please upload the picture of Shubhaavi Choksey in her wikipedia page, she is a well known Indian Television Actress known for playing Meera in Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, currently is seen in Bade Ache Lagte Hain 2. PLEASE UPLOAD IT, IF POSSIBLE. Qpms (talk) 17:39, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

@Qpms, images on Wikipedia need to have a license that meets the license requirements that are set out on WP:IMAGEUSE. For a living person, fair-use is very rarely allowed, so images for Choksey must have a free license. You can't just upload images that you find online and say they have a particular license when there is nothing on the page that supports that license. Images from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter are also not allowed, as they have a license that's not compatible with the projects requirements. If you find an image you think is allowed, you can ask on WP:IMAGEHELP if a specific image has an acceptable license.
One possible source is to see if there's an image of her on Bollywood Hungama from one of their parties or events. It MUST be from one of their parties/events - [1]. You can't use images from other parts of their site. They have specifically given permission that those images have a compatible CC-BY-SA. Ravensfire (talk) 18:01, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

Thank you so much. This message helped me a lot. I won’t upload any image without any license. Qpms (talk) 18:05, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

Can u explain me about improper sources? If I knew something it may helpful for me. Kingshravan04 (talk) 18:46, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

Edits need to be referenced with reliable sources. It's not enough that the source randomly mentions a part of the content. The full fact needs to be verifiable with the source. Also your edits were not only reverted due to improper sourcing: huge parts were just irrelevant. Wikipedia is not the yellow pages, pls check out WP:NOTDIRECTORY. – NJD-DE (talk) 18:54, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Gurvinder Singh Chhabra is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gurvinder Singh Chhabra until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Celestina007 (talk) 20:05, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi Celestina007, I believe I draftified a few seconds before you nominated the article for deletion. AfD might be the better venue, especially as the closer I look at it, it seems to be a recreated article (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gurvinder Singh Chhabra (Vicky)). Any idea how we can fix things now ? – NJD-DE (talk) 20:10, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
I believe we had an ec, or you draftified before I nominated, what I’d do is, since it in Draftspace I’d delete the AFD & allow the creator submit through AFC. Celestina007 (talk) 20:15, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
Please refer to the Linked AfD. I suggest the page mover revert his page move and let CSD take its course. There is no need to incubate this promotional spam. Venkat TL (talk) 20:20, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
I can't move it back even though I want to. Instead of CSD tagging the redirect to draft-space, the right step would be to CSD-tag that thing which is in draft now. – NJD-DE (talk) 20:23, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
@Njd-de. No a draft cannot be CSD tagged. Just place a revert move request on WP:RMT that you want to undo your page move, as you became aware of new information. The afd. Venkat TL (talk) 20:27, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
@Venkat TL, no, not quite, that is a factual inaccuracy as a “general” CSD tag can be applicable to almost anything on mainspace & draft. I was going to (non include) WP:CSD G6 tag the AFD but since you raised an objection, which I consider valid, I wouldn’t be doing so. Celestina007 (talk) 20:40, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
It's now back in mainspace, and tagged for G4 speedy deletion as well the Afd note. What a mess we created by doing similar things to the same page in the same moments (draftifying, nominate for Afd, nominate for CSD). Anyway, thanks to both of you for being in the same team and improving Wikipedia. – NJD-DE (talk) 21:23, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
@Celestina007 ok. I think I had read somewhere that draft have a separate deletion procedure MfD and have a much lower bar to be kept. If you are confidently saying that I read wrong or I am mistaken, then it is likely that you are right. @Njd-de no problem, happy to help. All is well, that ends well. Regarding draftify, I suggest looking for signs of notability before choosing draftify. It would make sense to draftify articles that pass notability but are incomplete or missing the important lines that prove notability. If it is clear that notability is lacking as in this case, then no amount of page improvement while in a draft will make the article pass notability criteria. Just my 2 cents on the situation. Thank you for your contributions both of you. Venkat TL (talk) 05:20, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gurvinder Singh Chhabra requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gurvinder Singh Chhabra (Vicky). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Venkat TL (talk) 20:10, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

Can you please undo your page move and let the page be deleted by CSD as I tagged. Refer Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gurvinder Singh Chhabra (Vicky) Venkat TL (talk) 20:14, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

Discussion about UARCHITECTS speedy deletion

Hello Njd-de, I edited the page UARCHITECTS and i figured out a speedy deletion for that. the point is that i would like to introduce dutch architects and categorize their works during the time. i created already the page for that and after that i started one with school projects which is basically in the education design category.would you please inform me what should i add or delete ?thank you

Amir.mansour1370 (talk) 12:33, 9 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi dear Njd-de,
I figured out that you request for the speedy deletion of the page (UARCHITECTS). in fact i started a page for dutch architects in 20th centiry and their works in the Education category ,so i have started the UARCHITECTS page to mention their remarkable and valuable projects since they recievd also a couple of prizes and in my opinion ,the page pr the similar pages should be seen and their remarkable works .would you please help me to fix the issue?thank you
Amir.mansour1370 (talk) 09:34, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
Hello Amir.mansour1370, the speedy deletion tag has already been removed. So for now you don't need to worry that it will be speedy deleted. However that article does need severe improvement in order to avoid being nominated for AfD. Specifically it needs more references to reliable sources that would demonstrate their notability and allow verification of the content. Creating articles is a difficult task, especially when you are new user. I usually recommend in these cases to first create a draft (page begins with prefix "Draft:"), and then submit it for review. You can check out Help:Your first article for more helpful details. – NJD-DE (talk) 11:04, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

@TheresNoTime: No worries, probably should've made it more clear from the beginning. Thanks for your quick reaction :) – NJD-DE (talk) 11:00, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
Nah I think it was a good report, I saw there had been repeated deletions but didn't think to check just how many!. Keep up the good work! -- TNT (talk • she/her) 11:10, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Hello Ankitaatiwarii, a section on your talk page has detail on what COI/conflict of interest is: User_talk:Ankitaatiwarii#Managing_a_conflict_of_interest. I wasn't asking for more references about February 2022. The tag just means that in February 2022 someone (i.e. me) identified that it lacks references that would show significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources. WP:REFBOMBing the article like this edit is not what was meant though. – NJD-DE (talk) 11:50, 12 February 2022 (UTC)

Question reg. Hojjat Adeli

Dear Ndj, Thanks for the remarks, but I didn't understand why you deleted my texts. the information on right column are coming from Who's Who in America, 1997; Pp-25-26 and the paragraph that begins with He is an American engineer, educator, computer scientist and research editor..... the source is:https://ngsp.osu.edu/people/adeli.1. I'm confused why you are considering them the information without eligible sources. I will be grateful if you let me know the reasons. thank you in advance for your help and cooperation.

Cordially,

Nooshin Nooshin Dadmehr (talk) 16:11, 28 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi Nooshin Dadmehr, I just checked the link you sent, and can't find anything there about the stuff you wrote in the paragraph. I don't see any birthplace mentioned there and also no information about the universities he attended. I had a look now at Who's Who in America, and some of the content you added in the infobox can be referenced with it. However it also doesn't mention his birth name and names of family members not notable themselves shouldn't be included in the article. – NJD-DE (talk) 16:39, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
Hi dear Ndj,
Please let me know if I have right to add this picture to Hojjat Adeli Wikipedia page. If yes, please let me know how. I guess this picture is free of copyright. Am I right. The picture is published by the link in below.
Thank you before for your help and guideline.
Nooshin

Hello Nooshin Dadmehr, there is no indication on the source site that it would be freely licensed. This means we have to assume it's protected by copyright, and you cannot upload it to Commons. – NJD-DE (talk) 19:51, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
Please also note that you cannot copy blocks of text from other websites to Wikipedia articles unless the original author published the content under a compatible license (which is almost never the case!) and then properly attributed. Let me know if you have any questions about that. – NJD-DE (talk) 20:01, 19 February 2022 (UTC)

Comments on Improving Greshun De Bouse page.

Hello. Thank you for your commentary on improving the Greshun De Bouse page. Will you please provide specific examples on the public holidays you state are improperly sourced, and any other improvements you see needed. I value your feedback as a Wikipedian. Sbhpost (talk) 13:12, 19 February 2022 (UTC)

@Sbhpost, all three of them were improperly sourced:
  • National Urban Educator Day: no source at all
  • National CAPHPACH DAY: site didn't mention De Bouse
  • National COVID Survivor Day: Gyaanipedia is an open wiki, see WP:SELFPUB.
The article as it stands may be deleted sooner or later: There needs to be significant coverage in reliable sources that'd demonstrate her notability. And references to these are currently missing.
Please note that in case you have any external relationship with Greshun De Bouse you may have a conflict of interest which requires disclosure. – NJD-DE (talk) 13:19, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
Hello. I appreciate constructive commentary to improve the Greshun De Bouse page according to wikipedia standards. However, I need clarity. For your "source issue not resolved" comment, how can the issue you see be resolved-different sources or the same sources cited differently? For the ydb inclusion, where do you believe this should be included, and how? I am new here, and would like to improve the page. Sbhpost (talk) 01:39, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
Hi Sbhpost. The article still needs more references that show there has been significant coverage of this indiviual. Specifically references to reliable and independent sources are needed. Not sources that just republish press releases. Also it's best to leave the maintenance issue templates up, and let a different editor decide if the issues have been resolved or not yet.
Regarding "ydb inclusion" I am not sure what you mean by this. – NJD-DE (talk) 14:14, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

Question

Why you deleted my article? Can you please back? Some people scamming with my name and I want submit my personal biography to protect from my name and my job please help me and publish my article Nicmaram (talk) 13:59, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

@Nicmaram. Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion, and Wikipedia is also not a place for personal biographies or CVs. Sites like LinkedIn exist for that.
I am sorry to hear that people are using your name for scams. The only hope will be to take it up to local law enforcement. – NJD-DE (talk) 14:32, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
So there is very much biographys from so peoples. What is that mean? Some guys scamming with my name and I need to add my biography to Wikipedia please help me Nicmaram (talk) 14:36, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
No there aren't personal biographies/autobiographies. There are articles written by users independent of the article's subject. Adding your autobiography to Wikipedia is not allowed, and wouldn't help you with your legal issue anyway. Again: Please reach out to local law enforcement about that. – NJD-DE (talk) 14:39, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
How I can autobiography Nicmaram (talk) 14:44, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
See WP:AUTO. Simply spoken: you cannot.
It's evident you are not here to build an encyclopedia. So please refrain from making further posts on my talk page. Thanks. – NJD-DE (talk) 14:47, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

They'll move it back

Of course they will. Improving the draft would be better, if the person is notable, of course FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 16:09, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

For sure they will. Re-creating this as a userpage was predictable as well, see Special:Permalink/1073017323. – NJD-DE (talk) 16:17, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
AfD will be predictable too FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 16:18, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
Definitely! I can see it snowing .. – NJD-DE (talk) 16:21, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
That will be climate change FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 16:23, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
Timtrent, I thought climate change is a lie.. – NJD-DE (talk) 17:19, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
Sitting in the middle of three named storms in quick succession the UK right now, I think one may say with some certainty that something isn't quite right with the climate. 😂 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 17:26, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
Certainly I agree with you ! Similar situation here in Germany, and in some areas you can still see the aftermath of the July 2021 floods :( Maybe I should retroactively mark my previous comment with [just kidding] to avoid confusion about my sanity :D – NJD-DE (talk) 17:38, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

Shahram Sardar's Article

Hey Njd-de

Actually I think you made a mistake

First of all: the link used in the first section is broken you can check it yourself

I added fixed Link of the same Cite: https://www.24.krd/en/story/26185-Kurdish-singer-to-release-his-latest-album-

Second: I added a photo of the artist that was his actual photo you can check the citation yourself to verify this

and for the third edit I added biography you're right I didn't added any citiation I will look into it thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ennakaori (talkcontribs) 18:17, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

Hey Ennakaori, possible that I make mistakes. I didn't notice you attempted at fixing the cite link. Please fix the entire reference then though (incl. the website parameter). About the photo you added: it has been published elsewhere online already, e.g. the artist's facebook page. You did however upload it as "own work". Do you have any external relationship with Shahram Sardar? – NJD-DE (talk) 18:27, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
