Allende[edit]

Could you please take a look at my remarks at Talk:Salvador_Allende#Personal_doctor? I know that a doctor present at the scene said in 1988 that Allende committed suicide, but I am unaware of any evidence that his personal doctor (who was killed by the Pinochet regime) ever said this. I suspect that you may have some (slightly) incorrect information from a secondary source, but if you have a different primary source, please cite it. Anyway, your reply there would be welcome. -- Jmabel | Talk 03:03, 25 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

PNAC Member category[edit]

Hello, I just came across Category:PNAC member. I found it while entering individuals into a category I had just created, Category:Project for the New American Century! Sorry, I didn't know your category had already existed. Because my category currently has more people in it and has a broader possible scope I'm going to propose on Wikipedia:Categories for deletion that Category:PNAC member be deleted, as it currently only contains one article which is easily moved. I wanted to give you a heads up. All the best, Kurieeto 23:11, 10 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Barry Goldwater[edit]

Hello user Nfgii. Is there any particular reason you removed the sentence "By the end of his life, however, Goldwater had become frustrated with what he saw as the Christian Right's influence on the Republican Party." from the introduction to the article? It seems like an important aspect of his life and politics, and it is elaborated on later in the article. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.--Rockero 18:16, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • My apologies. The information was removed by User:24.180.83.108. I have removed your name from the comment on the talk page and restored the information. I will also leave a comment on the user's talk page. Thank you for your civility after my misdirected accusation. One small item: when communicating directly with another editor, please leave comments on their talk page, rather than their user page. (I have moved your comment from my user page to my talk page in accordance with this standard.) Thank you again for your contributions.--Rockero 20:24, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Category: Mysterious persons[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you had added this category to quite a list of articles and I was wondering on what you were basing your decision to include some people. The category instructions say This category is for people about whom there is (or was for a long period) a mystery as to their identity, immediate origins, or life. It also carries a caution about inappropriately labelling someone. Examples of persons about whom I'm confused would include Janis Joplin, Benjamin Franklin, Henry David Thoreau, Michael Jackson. It would appear that your criteria for inclusion may include questions about their death, guilt, and similar areas. This isn't actually what that category is intended to convey. Again, just wondering. Wildhartlivie (talk) 09:44, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nfgii. I have reverted your wide range of miscategorizations. If you disagree, please discuss it on the talk page in advance to gather consensus on whether or not specific individuals meet the category or not. Happy new year!! (jarbarf) (talk) 09:48, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Donaldson Report[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Donaldson Report. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Donaldson Report. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:09, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
