Information icon Hello, I'm McGeddon. Your recent edit to the page Over-the-top content appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. The article SoftAtHome has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

17 million device footprint may be a fair claim for notability, but this doesn't meet WP:NCORP without secondary sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I think you've misunderstood me - I'm not saying that the 17 million device claim needs to be sourced (although you're right that it does), I'm saying the article needs to be sourced, to show that the company is notable. The fact that the article contained a bold claim about a wide userbase was all that was preventing it being deleted immediately under WP:A7 ("An article about [an organisation] that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant")!
You need to dig up a few secondary sources to show that this company has received enough press coverage to be considered "notable" by Wikipedia's standards. I'll check back in a day or two, but you may find the article gets deleted in the meantime if it's lacking these sources. --McGeddon (talk) 16:58, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I see where you are coming from. I will try to address this then.

Have just taken a closer look at the article and - my mistake - you had provided references, I just didn't notice them because they were all inline links. I've reformatted them to appear as references, so that should be fine now. --McGeddon (talk) 17:04, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks appreciate the guidance.
