Turner Prize[edit]

Tom Hendricks article[edit]

The Tom Hendricks article looks like what we call "a vanity article" – that is to say, the notability of Tom for an encyclopedia article is questionable, and by your username I would suspect you to be Tom, or someone working for or with him, and the article is thus in some way self-promotional. For a variety of reasons we strongly discourage autobiographical articles — please see the following pages for further information:-

Please consider whether the article is appropriate, or should be deleted. If you feel that Tom is notable enough by the criteria above, the best way to secure the future of the article is to provide verifiable references as to his notability in the article, and also consider leaving the article for other editors to work on. Our general advice regarding autobiographical articles is that, if you're notable enough, other editors will eventually create and update the article for you. I have added many referenes and will be glad to add more if sections need it.

I also encourage others to follow up with information/references. I believe every

claim is backed up and that the sections are better balanced.

Yes, I can see that you've definitely made improvements to the article and I laud your willingness to work with the process here. However, sufficient notability is still in question, and I think probably the best thing for the article is to put it through the articles for deletion process, wherein a panel of other editors will take a look at the article and make their recommendations before an administrator makes a final decision. That will give you an good opportunity to make your case formally for the article, and should it pass the AFD process, notability will be affirmed for the article's future. Following the AfD discussion I suggest any further information you have is posted on the talk page of Tom Hendricks as this is the recommended course, so that other editors can process it. Notability + verification[edit]

I thought you might like to check out Stuckism in Australia, which was also initially challenged, and the development of this article. It's worth studying the discussion (talk) page for the article and also the history. It might provide some insight into wiki workings, and maybe a stimulus for other contributions.
