Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Muhammad.naqash.sakhawat.hussain, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Pakistan–Uzbekistan relations have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. QuiteUnusual (talk) 08:55, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mareed na bagla requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Notice

The article Mareed na bagla has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Muhammad Sajjad Khan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Information icon Hello, I'm McSly. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder‎, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. McSly (talk) 16:49, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder‎, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. McSly (talk) 17:22, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Daiyusha (talk) 17:27, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

However, it will be assure next time before any addition or amendment it will be pass thought discussion. Thanks Muhammad.naqash.sakhawat.hussain (talk) 07:22, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding a JF-17 shooting down an su-30mki, I don't think timesofislamabad is a reliable source, something like dawn or tribune might be better sources. And there is no mention of a Su-30 MKI being hit anywhere else, or even being involved in the recent conflict at all. Provide a more reliable source and it will be accepted. Daiyusha (talk) 07:47, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Also use the talk page of the JF-17 page, to mention this incident, people can discuss and get better evidence for this.It is a sensitive topic, and the source you mention seems highly sensationalized. Daiyusha (talk) 07:56, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Muhammad.naqash.sakhawat.hussain (talk) 08:19, 5 March 2019 (UTC) Your statement is very logical and wise but Times of Islamabad is considered as a finest news section if we see Journalism in Pakistan and it has been confirmed by Indian news agency. A video is also added in the Article of JF-17 Thunder which is taken from wiki common and it is also verified by SpaceX agency. Regarding Sukhoi Su-30MKI, it has been confirmed by Indian news channel as well. However, this video is captured by mobile phone in Kashmir during dogfight between Jets over Kashmir. Further, during this dogfight after sometime video maker also tell to his partner about ejection of 2 pilots from one aircraft, which I didn’t added, as we are Wikipeidian and we believe best and exact information related to topic should be provided. Purpose of addition is not to show superiority or inferiority of any Aircraft or any Air force. Muhammad.naqash.sakhawat.hussain (talk) 08:19, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

When you mention "confirmed by indian news agency" could you provide the source as well. Wiki commons is a place where you yourself uploaded a video. Alos regarding it being verified by SpaceX, I really doubt that. SpaceX is a private rocket launching company, it launches satellites belonging to someone else, it doesn't own any tracking devices over India. Daiyusha (talk) 08:28, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I am Muhammad.naqash.sakhawat.hussain (talk) 08:31, 5 March 2019 (UTC), We have a lot of material related to this incident but as a reference i am coding Indian News Channel Anchorperson Mr. Rahul Kanwal in “India Today” confirmed news about Sukhoi Su-30MKI shoot down near Noshera Sector. Decline reason:

For the record, the CU log has the previous sock in a different country than this account, but the behavioural evidence is so overwhelming that I think it’s entirely within the realm of possibility that you’ve moved in the last two years. TonyBallioni (talk) 05:53, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

With reference to previous request to unblock my account which has been declined. I had provided all details related to my account and activities. I don’t know why as I explained that # Have only one account in Wikipedia. # Have no connection with any other account in Wikipedia. # Living in UAE for last 2 years. Before I was living in Lahore, Pakistan. # Didn’t receive any message from Wikipedia about my any other account before. # Today my account is blocked. Appeal to Review # As per Administrator my account is blocked because same Profile is existing in Wikipedia before, while i have only this account. # One the basis of this doubt that similar profile exists my account is blocked. If I am user of other account then why I created another account??? # I am social person, my neighbors, Family, relatives, Friend all are aware about me. May be someone made wikipedia account for me. But this is my account. # If these accounts are associated with my account, then kindly disowned it and remove these accounts but i'll not take possible liabilities of these accounts. In case, if you have feared of lose of contributions by associated accounts then kindly take ownership of these accounts. As I am suffering due to these accounts. Muhammad Naqash Sakhawat Hussain (talk) 06:22, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

[1] and [2] make it pretty obvious that this is not your first account. Doubling down on your innocence in the face of this and other evidence is not a sound unblock strategy. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:49, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
