Sorry about personal attacks[edit]

So, do I erase the statement against dposse? What should I do? I'm new around here... Sorry. I'll do whatever is necessary to fix the problem. Otherwise, I take the consequences like a man.

Thanks for the advice. I won't engage in any more personal attacks. Incidentally I'm only 16 years old. Am I allowed to edit wiki or am I too young? Sorry for losing my temper. In the future, if there is a conflict, can I ask you for advice? I like Snakes on a Plane. but that doesn't mean that I feel comfortable lying about it. dposse kept deleting my contributions even when I properly used citations. he told me that he wants to make a cool Snakes on a Plane page. he seems to object to any effort to make a neutral sounding page. he keeps editing out/deleting anything negative about the film. I'm not trashing the movie. like i said, I like the movie. I just want to report all the facts about the movie. alot of people in the industry were really disappointed about the film. the movie was projected by industry analysts to make 30 million at least and it only made 18 million! and alot of people in the industry are highly critical/disappointed about the outcome of this film. I simply wanted to report those facts since they are part of the history surrounding this film. but dposse deletes anything negative about the movie and then tries to twist my sources and contributions into making it sound like the movie is doing well. I don't want to be like bill o'reilly and spin disappointing truths about life into positive sounding spins/lies. anyhow, I'm sorry for my behavior. could you help me if future conflicts like this happen? i think I'm too young to figure out all these rules and effectively deal with manipulation and trolling from guys like dposse that are trying hard to hijack wiki pages for their own purposes.

So much for fairness...[edit]

I find it interesting that when other users attack me and make unnecessary personal attacks, then nobody comes to my defense. But when I lose my temper and screw up then everyone (especially you) is on my case. I'm not justifying my own behavior. And I'm trying to make amend. But clearly chocolateboy is using me as a scapegoat for what he doesn't like about this edit dispute and he won't stop personal attacks. And I'm too inexperienced at Wiki to know what to do to stop it.. It would be nice if experienced users like yourself didn't single only me and dposse out when clearly other users on that forum are using their experience on Wiki as a baseball bat across the knees of people like me starting out. Alpha Phi Alpha vandal[edit]

An admin placed a semi protect on the Alpha Phi Alpha page so that new or anonymous users could not edit the page. The sockpuppet vandal immediately created user ID NinjaNubian and requested the page be unprotected. He has begun vandalzing the page again. I have sent several request to stop chaning the work of others, and just sent him the first warning level. Can you pls monitor and block his ID if he persist. The same user is vandalizing the article again. He insists on changing words and sentences that promote his own POV. These words and sentences have survived a peer review and Featured Article review. Your image is a good one for illustrating cold temperatures. Any chance you could make a correlary which illustrates hot temperatures (maybe with red inside)? Well, I've been removing them when I see them at 3rr, as has William Connolly and a few other admins. Even if we hadn't already declined to block, we'd never block 5 days after the fact. I'd say just ignore it, and on the slim chance that he manages to fool an admin into blocking you for it email me from the link on my userpage and I'll unblock right away. You may assume good faith, however; please take a look at the Alpha Kappa Alpha article and talk pages. Since I have begun editing this article and Omega Psi Phi, he's jumped right in there with his same MO, summarily removing text, sources and the like that he doesn't approve of. He's saying on AKA that no text is allowed unless it from an official fraternity website; that should assure a NPOV. The Alpha Kappa Alpha artilce had 4 footnotes, now it only has 1 because he's removing the text. He follows me around on wikipedia, so you can expect a reply from hin in few hours if not minutes. Honestly, I feel his contributions are quite biased. He is a proud alpha yes, his contributions are better reserved for the Alpha Phi Alpha page. Many of his points are personal opinion though somethings can be verified.
