self-published source on Christina Kubisch's article[edit]

Per the discussion at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Albums/Archive_46#Piero_Scaruffi_-_Final_Verdict_on_using_him_as_a_source_in_reviews there's a very clear consensus here that Scaruffi is not to be used as a source in music/album articles in any capacity. Do not add his reviews to review charts, or his opinions in reception sections. Since this is a long running dispute, any contributor warned by the situation and who doesn't respect it, would encounter sanctions and could be blocked from editing. Thanks. You've been informed because you used this source on 1 April 2014 here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Christina_Kubisch&diff=602223871&oldid=598097256 Woovee (talk) 16:49, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for letting me know, I'll fix it ASAP MizRiz3133 (talk)

Thank you for your edits to this article. However, the composer's Website isn't a proper source for Wikipedia. You should look for secondary sources for biographical information, as self-published info is not considered reliable. See the information on sources here. I haven't reverted your edits, but it's likely they will be eventually reverted as improperly sourced.

Also, rather than entering one source over and over, you can name it using < ref name="whatever" >citation here< /ref > and then use < ref name="whatever" / > for later uses of the same reference. Remove extra spaces to make it actually work. Pkeets (talk) 03:41, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I appreciate it. I'm really new to this, plus most of the information about her life is in German so it's made finding sources difficult. And thanks for the note about references.
