Policy banks (China)[edit]

Policy banks (China) is very confused. Starts off talking about 2 banks, second paragraph we are up to 3, one of which is referred to by a different name from the first paragraph. Readers don't have a hope. --Tagishsimon (talk) 13:37, 5 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for your advice, Tagishsimon! I've checked the two misleading problems and have corrected both of them. Please check, and thank you again.

It's looking much better; I have made some minor changes. China Development Bank still describes that bank as a policy bank, so we could do with more clarity about its status ... but as with all things, all articles could be improved. Depends how much time and interest any of us have. Thank you for starting Policy banks ... very welcome. --Tagishsimon (talk) 14:18, 5 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your kind remark.I'm a finance student from China and I understand the concept 'policy bank' is very commonly heard in the news. But this is a term based on Chinese financial system, so this type of bank is unique from western banking system. China Development Bank was founded as policy bank but was no long officially defined as such a bank by the Chinese government in 2015 because of its transformation. I think the wikipedia page of this bank needs update and I will help deal with it when I'm free. Please check the official website if you're interested in this bank: [1], and please note that a 'development finance institution' mentioned in the first paragraph is not equal to a policy bank. Disambiguation link notification for December 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Zhejiang Tailong Commercial Bank, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Taizhou (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, I mentioned it in the comment to the edit, but I used nowiki tags to disable the template on your user page because it was adding two main space categories to your user page in violation of WP:USERNOCAT. Roads of Tang Poetry[edit]

Hi Mike hangzhou,

I have a question. You created the article Roads of Tang Poetry. Thank you for this article! In it, you translated 全国唐诗之路与天姥山学术研讨会 as China National Symposium on Road of Tang Poetry and Tianmushan. Could this also be translated as China National Symposium on Road of Tang Poetry and Tianmu Mountain? If so, it would be nice to include the link to this moutain's article in Wikipedia. Or is Tianmushan another mountain, or no mountain at all?

(I have no special relation to Tang era poetry, I just found your article by a search for the misspelling peotry (poetry).)
