Asking for clarification about block[edit]

You blocked me a few months ago for block evasion and I just found out I can edit my talk page again so I'm wondering if you could let me know what I did wrong please. I'm guessing it means I was blocked on another account but I was not aware of it if it was the case.

I do recall having one or two other accounts before but I did not understand wikipedia very well and I forgot I had one so I guess I just recreated a new account.

If I was blocked on another account with this IP adress, may I know the name of the account so I could find out what happened and then request unblock?

You attempt to make the same edit to TS as a long-term vandal. It may be a false positive, but given that you've made no other edits, I blocked per WP:DUCK. I'm will to accept that it may be a false positive; I wouldn't expect the LTA to ask about a block from this long ago. OhNoitsJamie ^Talk 00:32, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm not a long-term vandal. I've been making edits on French wikipedia before. I didn't realize the edit I was trying to make on TS was incorrect even though it was explained on the article's talk page. In order to be considered for unblocking, you need to clearly explain why you were attempting to make the same edit as a long-term vandal. For example, you could show a reliable citation (WP:RS, WP:CITE) demonstrating this and explain why you decided to add this information.
