How can I create a new article on Wikipedia Mehboob Nambrath (talk) 09:25, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

P.T. Punnoose moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, P.T. Punnoose, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Friendly advice[edit]

Hi, I came across your recently-created article P.T. Punnoose, and tagged it for speedy deletion since it was obviously a boilerplate with dummy content. (I didn't want to move it to draft space, as your previous similar attempt already was there.) I've now checked back, and noticed that you've been working on the content, so I've cancelled the deletion request. In the future, I would recommend that you don't publish unfinished articles into the main article space, which is public, but develop them in your draft space and only move to the main space when they're ready, otherwise you risk your work being deleted, as this one almost was, or at the very least confusing other editors. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:18, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Mehboob Nambrath (talk) 07:24, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on R. Velayudhan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ~ Amkgp 💬 14:13, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of C.T. Ahammed Ali[edit]

Hello Mehboob Nambrath,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged C.T. Ahammed Ali for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Disambiguation link notification for December 18[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1987 Kerala Legislative Assembly election, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Revolutionary Socialist Party. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:18, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Images in infoboxes[edit]

Hello and thank you for your contributions! I have noticed that you use image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|]] in your infoboxes. This adds an extra frame to the image, which is not great. If you are concerned about the size, please don't be. It is supposed to be standardised across Wikipedia. Some further information is at WP:IBI and WP:IMGSIZE. For the future, could you just use image=File:SomeImage.jpg|caption=|alt= inside the infobox? Thank you, —Kusma (talk) 09:54, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mehboob Nambrath, please make sure the articles you create satisfies WP:COMMONNAME and also please check if the same article subject is created before by other editors. I've redirected the article you created Stalin ministry to the commonname M. K. Stalin ministry. Regards, SUN EYE 1 08:20, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
