How I Met Your Mother (season 8)[edit]

Regarding this edit, please see MOS:QUOTE, which I cited in my earlier edit that fixed this.[1] Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Quotations within quotations explains how quotation marks are nested by alternating between double and single quotes. Your edit leaves only one set of quotation marks at the right of the text, which is most definitely incorrect. Quotation marks should always be added in pairs. --AussieLegend () 20:45, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Eaglestorm[edit]

Hi, Meggieh69. Sorry to tell you, but Eaglestorm will never answer your question. He will just keep deleting your messages and give you a sarcastic insult in the edit summary. I and other users have dealt with him before. I suggest trying again, and if he continues to remove your question, take it up with Wikipedia's staff here. 134340Goat (talk) 20:59, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know since Ring Up! has aired it no longer needs a reference in the episode list at How I Met Your Mother (season 8). --Jnorton7558 (talk) 00:59, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How I Met Your Mother (season 9)[edit]

Hi Meggieh69. I noticed you have written pretty long descriptions in the episode list of this season. The idea of that table is to provide a brief summary of what the episode is about, but you have restored longer descriptions that actually describe, albeit briefly, everything that happens in the episode (including revelations from the end of the episode). The model to follow should be the one included in CBS' press releases, as is also the one used in the previous season. Here you have an example of "Unpause": http://www.spoilertv.com/2014/01/how-i-met-your-mother-episode-915.html. As you can see, it differs greatly for the one that reveals that viewers will know at the end of the episode the names of Ted's kids. Additionally, while you were restoring your descriptions of the episodes, you deleted information regarding guest stars, including ones that have already appeared (I could understand you deleting the ones about actors confirmed by the crew in interviews but who have yet to appear), and altered the episode counts (the main cast should have 15 except for Milioti with 6). I have restored the article to the previous version, but I wanted to make clear my reasoning so there are no misunderstandings. Thanks. 186.134.52.216 (talk) 04:48, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
