Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, MarcomECAE. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Emirates College for Advanced Education, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). I am Jassim Kamali from Emirates College for Advanced Education. I work there as a Senior Specialist - Marketing. The information was outdated, and I had to place the content of our website Homepage - Emirates College for Advanced Education (ecae.ac.ae) on our Wikipedia page. Kindly advise how to solve the issue because we have not violated anything.

Thank you for your interest in working on Wikipedia. There are a couple of problems with your submission. You cannot post copyright material on Wikipedia even if you are the copyright holder or have their permission, unless special licensing permissions are in place. That is because Wikipedia aims to be freely distributable and copyable by anyone, and all content must have the appropriate documentation in place before that can happen. Please see Wikipedia:donating copyrighted materials which explains how it works.

The second problem is conflict of interest. Writing an article about your own organisation or that of a client is strongly discouraged, as it is difficult to maintain the required neutral point of view. According to our terms of use, paid editors and people editing on behalf of their employer are required to disclose their conflict of interest by posting a notice on their user page or talk page. Please see the conflict of interest information above.

I received your email, I don't discuss Wikipedia matters via email as a matter of policy in most cases. Please make a new unblock request proposing a new username. You may also just create a new account in the new username that you want(though that does not preserve your edit history).
