December 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that a recent edit of yours to the page Idi Amin has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. hwalk | talk | contribs 16:45, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Bojo1498: This warning makes no sense to me at all and seems completely inappropriate. The edit summaries describe exactly what the changes this editor made to that article were. Toddst1 (talk) 15:27, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Toddst1: They used the same edit summary for a series of edits, several of which were grammatical changes. --hwalk | talk | contribs 15:30, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That is absurd. [1] is exactly what Lon says. Toddst1 (talk) 15:48, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@bojo1498, @Toddst1 Was trying to figure my mistake down in the bibliography that goes with the edit. The "form" that I filled contained errors and it took me a few attempts at correction before the biblio was up to my expectation.Lon Watkins (talk) 02:22, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
