Our conflict of interest policy[edit]

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, its competitors, or projects and products you or they are involved with;

Locks and Locks Brasserie.[edit]

Hi, I was pointed at your draft about Locks. Unfortunately, that restaurant is not notable as it has no track record. As Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, we only describe "things" that are already known. based on the advice given to you, I have merged the info into the article Locks Brasserie, a restaurant that is (or better was) notable due to the Michelin star. Unfortunately, it is not much more than the name of the restaurant and the chef plus a source. That is the best I can do you you. I wish you good luck with the company! Block[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing, because this account has been used only for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia's content policy. Also, your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is against Wikipedia's policy: an account is for an individual, not a group. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a free advertising service. If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 16:38, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My apologies, I was writing on behalf of this company but I wasn't writing for promotion, "free advertising" or other wise. You will see from my first submission that I wrote a couple of lines about the re-opening of the restaurant, under new ownership, and backed it up with reliable, unbiased sources, stating the name of the new restaurant and who the new owners are. I wrote in a completely unbiased way and I believe there has been a misunderstanding. I would appreciate an unblock, and am happy to change my username if that's what needs to be done. I am very new to Wikipedia so please excuse me if I did something wrong. I won't repeat the edits again if I am to be unblocked. Thank you for your time. Here's a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a subject that you are trying to create an article about, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to break the 3 important questions above.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 13:01, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
