I saw them at both Lake Superior and my talk page. I answered at Lake Superior and at my talk page. BTW, the practice is to put new posts on the bottom of talk pages. I moved your Lake Superior one to the bottom and will move the one on my talk page to the bottom. Otherwise nobody will see them. Hi Austin, wondering whether you're talking about "your" page -- did you mean your user page or did you mean the Lake Keowee page? I'm assuming the latter. Best bet is to get references and you might consider doing a search in Google such as this one: "Lake Keowee" (site:wsj.com OR site:nytimes.com OR site:boston.com OR site:miamiherald.com OR site:post-gazette.com OR site:chicagotribune.com OR site:suntimes.com OR site:latimes.com OR site:sfexaminer.com OR site:oregonian.com OR site:usatoday.com OR site:time.com OR site:washingtonpost.com OR site:nysun.com OR site:cbsnews.com OR site:npr.org OR site:guardian.co.uk OR site:nj.com OR site:nhpr.com OR site:huffingtonpost.com OR site:thestar.com OR site:usnews.com OR site:slate.com OR site:newsweek.com OR site:cnn.com) -- you can copy and paste everything from "Lake Keowee" thru to the cnn.com one and stick this in your browser. See what you come up with. What you're doing is filtering the term "Lake Keowee" with information from major media outlets. If you click on any information from your search which you would like to summarize and insert into the Wikipedia article, you can add it to the Lake Keowee article -- a sentence or two -- followed by the reference. I researched, added, and did some copyediting of Lake Keowee, but I kept it in a sandbox for you to peruse first -- please check it out here proposed revamp of Lake Keowee article. If you like it as it is, why not copy and paste it in the article; I tried to organize it better, and put in more conversions so European readers will know the distances & such. I didn't read it over much; I think more pictures are needed; and there are a bunch of things I'm curious about -- how does the Cherokee Indian tribe interface with the lake and residents? did the Keowee river disappear (totally inundated) when the lake was made or did it only partially disappear? does the nuclear power plant warm up the lake and how much? Has it ever run out of water (ie during a drought) and what protectionws are there for the nuclear power plant if that happens? is there a police force with boats which patrols the lake and what are the rules? would be nice if we could get a good map of it. I bet Duke Energy has more info about the whole project but the problem is they're a so-called primary source when Wikipedia really prefers secondary sources (ie a newspaper reporter, reading the Duke Energy stuff, and commenting in print -- one step removed from the primary Duke Energy source). Also -- is the lake entirely in South Carolina or does it touch NC or GA? (I used to go to U.GA but I never got to this lake.) I have a FB friend with a camera who lives nearby and I may be able to get him to take pictures of selected areas of the lake.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 18:08, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
