October 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Cebu Institute of Medicine has been reverted.
Your edit here to Cebu Institute of Medicine was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://torch-cim.weebly.com/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:24, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Luzviminda Travel and Tours, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.  Chzz  ►  08:47, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Luzviminda Travel and Tours[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Luzviminda Travel and Tours. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willingly to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 08:56, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

i want to try to edit this entry and that it will conform to wikipedia standards so it will be like an encyclopedic article instead of being too commercial or advertising in nature. i hope to have the best help around in structuring the sentences. thanx in advance. --Licinio Angel Lopez Talip 10:25, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Cebu Institute of Medicine. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not keep adding that link; clearly others (including me) do not think it is appropriate - so, please discuss it on Talk:Cebu Institute of Medicine - don't just keep adding it. Thanks.  Chzz  ►  09:03, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Cebu Institute of Medicine do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia.

TORCH[edit]

Can I suggest that you stop adding this link for the time being? The site is obviously on a list of unapproved places (self-publishing operations like weebly, blogspot and Youtube are regarded as not being reliable places to refer to). Apart from this, it is 'under construction' and not much help at the moment anyway. I would warn you of our WP:3RR rule, which you probably didn't know about. This says that no-one should revert an edit more than three times in 24 hours on a page (except for obvious vandalism). So long as you stop adding the link until such time as we can come to an agreement on it, and in view of you being very new to Wikipedia, I am not going to take action. (Usually, there is a 24 hour block on editing imposed.) The editor who reverted you is one of our most experienced editors, and I would like to get the three of us together to discuss this matter. I would suggest the talk page of the article, so that any other regular contributors to the article may join in. Peridon (talk) 10:04, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 10:16, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Luzviminda[edit]

I would suggest first of all that you read WP:CORP and WP:RS. The first is our policy on notability for companies, and the second is about reliable independent sources that need to be used to prove the notability. These do not include blogs, forums, wikis, self-published things, or mere mentions (such as 'also present were Joe Bloggs, Fred Smith and Bert York' - this would not show any notability for any of them). Not all companies (or people) get articles here (and some that do wish they hadn't, later), so do some research and see what you can find. Then let me know, and while you are waiting for a reply, read WP:SPAM and WP:NPOV. Those are our policy on advertising, and our policy on how not to sound as if you are advertising (neutral point of view). Peridon (talk) 10:33, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

...and re. the talk page you made at Talk:Luzviminda Travel and Tours - that will be deleted soon, because we can't have a talk-page when there is no article. So I've copied your comment here...

If you decide to try and write an article, make a user-space draft, not a live article - and get someone to check it. But please a) edit something else first (get used to Wikipedia), b) read WP:BFAQ and WP:FIRST.  Chzz  ►  13:36, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
