Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. Yes, and all of them provided quality information on the topic. It seriously looks to me that Wikipedia has become a Witch-hunt rather than a "A free encyclopedia built collaboratively using wiki software".
The resources provided valid information which can actually be of value to Wikipedia's visitors and still, it gets deleted... Years ago I remember a friend of mine complained that his reference (link) was deleted while the information he added was kept on Wikipedia, even though his link was the original and only source of the information. That was stupid, but still, the information continued to be available to anyone on Wikipedia which is the end goal.
This time it happened to me, only no one cares about the information anymore. The only thing you are concerned with is that the references didn't come from CNN. Congratulations! You now know how to remove facts from Wikipedia. Several years from now there will probably be no one left, who actually remembers that this encyclopedia needs to be updated in order to grow.
Pity...
