Notability of Jesse Poland[edit]

A tag has been placed on Jesse Poland, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WebHamster 19:35, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to North American Union, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. October 2009[edit]

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Jaina Solo. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --EEMIV (talk) 17:46, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Star Wars Family Tree, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Star Wars Family Tree. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. --EEMIV (talk) 15:19, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Star Wars Family Tree. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. --EEMIV (talk) 16:00, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Skywalker family, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. --EEMIV (talk) 23:01, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Solo family, you will be blocked from editing. --EEMIV (talk) 23:03, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Star Wars Family Tree, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Take a hint -- your edits are counterproductive and fail to pass the policies/guidelines of WP:GNG, WP:V, WP:WAF. Just...stop. --EEMIV (talk) 23:05, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Skywalker family, you will be blocked from editing. --EEMIV (talk) 23:06, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Kystiens Personal Work Page, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. --EEMIV (talk) 12:15, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

I have blocked you for 24 hrs to prevent you from causing further trouble interfering with the AfD process and creating chaotic article forks. I hope this will give other users the time to sort out the mess you create. When you come back, I expect you will collaborate and consult politely with other users in order to learn how to do things around here.

Please don't even think about evading this block by editing logged out through other IPs in the meantime. If you do this, your block will be extended without further warning. Fut.Perf. 12:25, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An actual message[edit]

  • You mentioned on my talk page, describing the family tree stuff you made: "Wookiepedia will not allow me to create it". As a general rule of thumb, if content isn't appropriate for Wookieepedia (a specialist, super-detailed encyclopedia on a specific topic), it absolutely isn't appropriate for Wikipedia, which generally eschews super-fine detail about elements of fiction.
  • Please take a moment to read the writing-about-fiction guidelines and what to do when someone undoes your edits -- you'll see that this is quite a different editing environment at Wookieepedia. Given your fervor for the Star Wars material, you might find Wookieepedia -- despite your disagreements with them earlier -- a more appropriate place for the kind of interests you've demonstrated here.
  • An IP address that made several edits to a picture file and the Solo family tree -- i.e. that seemed to follow your style -- submitted a request to have my Wikipedia password reset. I have no doubt it was you. That kind of meddling will quickly garner you a much longer block than just 24 hours. So, too, will the generally disruptive copy-and-paste and page-move edits you made earlier.

Anyhow, please use the 24 hours you have off to read more about general Wikipedia policies. I'll also post a generic welcome template with other useful links. You're of course also welcome to "GET [YOUR] FUCKING SERVER BACK UP"; we'll of course heed your request to "SCREW ALL OF [US]". Have a nice day! --EEMIV (talk) 12:33, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Kassian.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kassian.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:09, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Kassian.jpg[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Kassian.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. Your addition to Matt Kassian has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder.
