Grinnell College[edit]

On your adding Bennett Bean as a Prominent alumni of Grinnell College, I'd like to point out that he transferred out of Grinnell before he graduated, therefore he is not considered and alumnus of Grinnell! thatha 05:34, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I was following the standing Wikipedia definition of alumnus, which means a former student of an institution. This is a standard definition of the term. As the "alumnus" article points out, equating "alumnus" with "graduate" is a misconception. Hello, I am working on a pet project to help digitize information about the field of metalsmithing+jewelry. I started with making a page for Art jewelry forum (AJF), and have a list of artists that I would like to make pages for as well. The AJF page has been nominated for deletion because it is questioned if the organization is "notable".
