Writing about your company[edit]

See Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide as well as Conflict of interest. The present view at Wikipedia is that you should not edit or create an article about a subject where you have a clear conflict of interest. You may create an article as a draft in your userspace, and allow others to evaluate and edit it before they move it to article space. You are welcome to propose changes via the talkpage of an article where you have a conflict of interest. I thank you for making clear in your edit summaries that you have a close connection to the subject of your article. I don't deal directly with COI issues very much, so I don't know if other administrators will be willing to leave the new article in mainspace, or if it will get moved to being a draft in your userspace, or if it will get deleted. I did note a lack of reliable and independent sources used as references to show that it isa notable organization, so it might get deleted for lack of demonstrated notability. I hope you do not find all this too stressful and that you will stick around. Regards, Edison (talk) 23:18, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
