License tagging for Image:Du-army.jpg[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Du-army.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Copyright problems with Image:Du-army.jpg[edit]
- Wikipedia is very serious about obeying the law. You have recently stated on the page that "This image appeared in a national newspaper The Daily Star and I have had explicit permission to post it on wikipedia for educational purpose" (emphasis added). An attack article from a dubious source is not enough to comply with WP:RS. Please remove this material, as it is a violation of WP:BLP. That is your reliable source? It is a hatchet job, nothing more. Just because it is published does not give it the status of reliable or neutral. Regarding reversions[1] made on September 10 2007 to Sajeeb Wazed[edit]
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button

Copyright Status of Image:Dynasty.png[edit]
Hi There. Could you please confirm where you got the six photographs that you used to create Image:Dynasty.png? You can only donate a derivative work like Image:Dynasty.png to Public domain if the original materials directly used to create the derivative work (in this case the 6 photographs) are either in the public domain or you hold the copyright of those photographs. If these 6 images are really in the public domain, that's great, please tell us how to validate that and we can use these images in a lot of other places as well. But in case these images are not in the public domain, we may have to delete Image:Dynasty.png. Regards, Arman (Talk) 03:57, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
