I think Wikipedia is great! It provides amazing up to date help for new users, and is great for school projects, though, many schools don't use this great source. It also provides a great way to have fun, believe it or not. You can edit, chat give ideas, and just plain talk. It is a great place! Kaleyann (talk) 18:27, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Kaleyann[reply]

Questions[edit]

Hi, Kaleyann. Welcome to Wikipeidia! I have two questions to ask you. Have you edited Wikipedia before? And how did you find Wikipedia talk:User pages#Secret pages: Ok or not? Cunard (talk) 22:32, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  1. I've never edited Wikipedia before.
  2. I liked it. It was the first thing I ever edited here. Great for a first impression! I just dove right in, though I didn't really know what you were talking about. I don't know of any secret pages, or how they work. :D --Kaleyann (talk) 22:48, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Kaleyann[reply]
Yes, but how did you find that discussion? New editors normally don't find obscure guideline pages. Cunard (talk) 22:59, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was searching for articals I could edit by clicking the Random Article button, and I came across it. I think I might really use that button someday! --Kaleyann (talk) 23:54, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Kaleyann[reply]

Special:Random leads only to articles, not pages in the "Wikipedia" or "Wikipedia talk" namespaces. Cunard (talk) 23:56, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. You know, I think I forgot, because at the moment I thought It wasn't important. Why is it important?--Kaleyann (talk) 00:03, 2 May 2010 (UTC)Kaleyann[reply]

The reason it's important is that this account may be used for meatpuppetry. Did anyone ask you to comment at Wikipedia talk:User pages#Secret pages: Ok or not? Cunard (talk) 00:09, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No. Plus, if they did, I wouldn't follow there commands. I wouldn't trust them. --Kaleyann (talk) 00:20, 2 May 2010 (UTC)Kaleyann[reply]

I'm new here[edit]

Hello! I'm new here, and am loving my experience so far! Wikipedia is so up to date, I can't find anything to edit! Amazing, right? Now guess what! I just figured out how I can Italic text, Bold text and make a link! Pretty neat, no?--Kaleyann (talk) 22:48, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Kaleyann[reply]

May 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Guinea pig has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Tommy2010 23:57, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm so sorry! I have cavys and they always eat like pigs. I thought it was a fact! Sorry! --Kaleyann (talk) 00:05, 2 May 2010 (UTC)Kaleyann[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Grass, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
