Hi I wanted to reach out because I saw your article, T-Money (rapper), has been nominated for deletion. Hey, just saw your reply, that's great, let's do it!

• So my first suggestion would be to make sure you've got a copy of this draft saved to your own computer or the cloud or whatever, because this is such valuable music history and even if parts or even the whole topic can't be made to fit the Wikipedia format, it should definitely find a home somewhere!

• A big thing that was surprising to me when I started editing WP was learning that it's not enough just for entries to be true--because anyone is allowed to edit any part of WP (rather than, say, only historians being allowed to edit history or only music critics music topics, etc.--or even if we had historians to fact-check all the history submissions and music critics to fact-check all the music submissions, alas we do not), the way we try to ensure information is reliable is to ask that when an editor adds anything to the encyclopedia, they pair it with reference to a reliable secondary source. Basically, a source that 1, has already been fact-checked (so a newspaper, magazine, academic journal, a book, as long as it's not self-published), and 2, that anyone else could go verify that it really is true. So unfortunately, the interview probably is not a source that can be used in this entry, because it's what the subject said about himself, rather than being fact-checked and published by an independent, secondary source. (It's a really good example of something that's obviously valuable and totally should have a home somewhere, regardless of whether it matches the WP format.)

• So a good place to start would be to cut (sadly) anything from the entry that's only in the interview, rather than in a book, article or other publication written and fact-checked by someone other than the subject.

• Then, with what remains, you'll want to make sure basically every sentence has a citation. I see you've already figure out how to use the same citation at multiple places in the entry, which is great. Definitely add the refs to everything you can, and if you have any more sources that you haven't added yet, definitely put those in--the extent of sourcing available on a topic is the main question for the deletion discussion, and the more you can provide, the easier it is to persuade other editors we have enough secondary source material to create a full, balanced entry.

...ok that seems like plenty to start with for now! On my end I'll make a few edits for what we call "neutrality". Basically the idea is, the encyclopedia just reflects what secondary sources have written, rather than being the historians or critics who decide, say, whether someone was "legendary." So if a source uses that word, you can quote the source; otherwise, we leave it out. If I delete something and you do have a source for it, please do add it back in with the source!
