Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:44, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry! It wasn't intended. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TomTwice (talkcontribs) 12:36, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. What if I just remove the info box? And what more do I have to do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TomTwice (talkcontribs) 12:44, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Piprahwa[edit]

Know your enemy (Sun Tzu : The Art of War)

My name is Terry Phelps, I know more about these matters than anyone else in the world, and my details can be found in the notes at the end of the review of 'The Bones of the Buddha' at http://buddhistartnews.wordpress.com/2013/05/28/film-review-bones-of-the-buddha-icon-films-2013/#comments. Since this thorny subject appears, at present, to be generating more heat than light, who are you (your real name, that is) and where, may I ask, does your own interest lie in these matters? Without this, you won't get a further syllable from me, I'm afraid. Show yourself. Taphelps (talk) 16:20, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks for your prompt reply, and both delighted and relieved to hear that you are not whom I suspected that you may be (hence my question). Whilst Your Piprahwa article mentions that controversy surrounds the finds, it still leans overwhelmingly in support of their authenticity, and this, I feel, does not reflect the necessary impartiality as a result. It should be borne in mind that we are here attempting not only to establish the truth or otherwise of the Piprahwa finds, but also, by implication, the geographical, historical, and perhaps even the physical details of a man - the Buddha - whom billions have regarded as being the greatest human that ever lived, a figure of incalculable imoprtance to World History in fact, and that it therefore behoves us to think it through and get it right. Whilst referring (once) to the source where an opposing view may be found - viz, my own website, 'The Piprahwa Deceptions' - you make no mention of the extent of extraordinary deceptions that are revealed in that source, and this can hardly be to the good. I therefore propose to submit a linking article on Fuhrer which should satisfy the Wikipedia demands, and shall hope that this will be deemed acceptable as a result. Thomas Watters page / Anton Fuhrer page[edit]

First, I would like to hear some of those 'various reasons' for deleting the Fuhrer page (and shall assume, of course, that they have no connection whatsoever with the Piprahwa page). Second, I contacted you about the Thomas Watters page (which you have very recently established, I note) NOT about the Fuhrer page, and asked for your comments on a problem contained in Watters' 'Yuan Chwang Travels' book. Thus far you have made none, so I trust that I may now await your reply on this problem accordingly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Taphelps (talkcontribs) 15:40, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
