Stop undoing edits[edit]
You need to stop undoing edits on articles that include death. What you said is wrong. Every article has to have a cause of death and a long illness is a cause of death, and although some people die from a long illness, it doesn't happen to everyone. 82.19.40.217 (talk) 16:20, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

- I think you'll find that it's you that's edit warring, not me and your language and behaviour is unacceptable. A Long illness” IS a cause of death. - Cancer is a cause of death. It's a specific illness/disease. "Illness", "disease", "sickness" etc. are not. Being ill is just the opposite of being healthy. I'm not being rude. You're being arrogant and unwilling to listen. Read WP:EUPHEMISM. It's the same reason why we don't put "died from natural causes". Again, "natural causes" is not a specific cause of death. It's a euphemism. Most people die of something natural, and it's the default assumption that they died from something natural unless otherwise stated. I'm not discussing this further. - And a long illness could be cancer, dementia, kidney disease anything like that, I think that's what you don't understand, you might not agree with me but that's what I think. - Hello IP person with no name. My edit of your input was the first you reverted, and my edit actually explained what you did wrong to begin with. Your rationale for using "after a long illness" was wrong for another reason. You tried to make that reason a fact, when the tweet didn't even cite the reason for his death, therefore burden of proof is on you to supply backup source that confirms the cause. Until such info can be found, and from a reputable source, and preferably secondary type at that, the statement in the article will remain without a documented cause. -- Tytrox (talk) 16:56, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
