Sleep Apnea

My homemade treatment of chewing gum before sleeping and drinking milk before sleeping. The gum will exercise your tongue and prevent it from falling. When you drink milk it must be cool, not warm. If apnea is obesity induced, then sleep mouth facing the pillow but with your face looking left, not right. This way, your body fat will not crush the few strenght remaining on your lungs. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that all reliable sources must comprise a total sales-figure within supporting the sales-bracket the artist's placed in. Unfortunately, this source does not have to do anything with sales-figures. Please, do not keep adding Luis Miguel to List of best-selling music artists as this is Luis Miguel's official web site , therefore we cannot use this per WP:RS and the the Warner Music Mexico's site which is supposed to be this according to you in edit summary does not contain the 52 million figure within the biography section.--Harout72 (talk) 22:45, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for understanding, unfortunately, the sources that you are suggesting on my talk page are not reliable. I'd like to give you some examples of what are the reliable source that we should be looking for to support the artists at List of best-selling music artists: They could be published by either U.S. or foreign major papers/magazines such would be CNN, BBC, Billboard, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal. We could also use figures posted within the web sites of major record companies for example: Warner Music (which you made an attempt on but lacked the sales figure), Universal, Sony/BMG or even MTV, VH1 (again they don't necessarily have to be published in English language). You could look at the sources that we have accepted so far here. By the way, I was able to locate one German source for Luis Miguel stating over 50 million records. 2008 Latin American GDP per Capita (PPP) figures as per the IMF

One of the ways to calculate the GDP (PPP) for a specific country is to take the value of all final goods and services produced within that nation in a given period of time and divide them by the average population for that period of time. That period of time could a year, half a year, a quarter and even a month.
While I could see that updating the table with 2009 figures could be to a certain degree far-fetched, the 2008 figures are quite realistic. Considering that the year has less than 10 days to end, I don't think it's a stretch to post those figures now, much less I would consider them misleading.

RE: Latin America Demographics

Hello, there is one thing I have to clarify you. Because 56% of Argentines have a at least one Amerindian ancestor, that doesn't make them Mestizo. According to another study, the average Argentine has 18.1% Indigenous contribution, but if you add the old Spanish Casta system, Argentines are considered White. The Casta is not used today for determining Class, but it is sometimes now use to determined Race. Yes, you are right that there are White Americans with Black and Indigenous ancestry, but does that make them Multiracial? I hope that this clarifies my reason for removing Argentines and Uruguayans from Mestizo (another is that it was placed by a bad-faith editor). Thank you for reading. I saw your last two edits there. But the sources are a problem, because they're other Wikipedia articles, which goes against policy. ("Articles and posts on Wikipedia, or other websites that mirror Wikipedia content, may not be used as sources."Wikipedia:SPS) You should therefore cite the sources in those articles. I didn't do it myself because I like to verify (and preferably peruse) sources before I add them, which takes more time than I have right now (I'd like to get to many other articles this evening).

Julieta Venegas

I'm just following Wikipedia guidelines. It just doesn't make sense to call her a "Mexican American". To me, a Mexican American is someone born and raised in the United States, or even a Mexican-born person who is a citizen of the United States. In Julieta's case, it's vice versa, she was born in the United States, but was raised in and is a citizen of Mexico, so it would make more sense to call her an "American Mexican" than a "Mexican American", no? -- Lancini87 (talk) 03:26, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

As i said the values with mathematical scaling estimates (ruler) with Charts and Figures. It all their in the update and if you want disagree with some of the numbers, measure it and edit it accordingly. Proposed deletion of List of Latin American subnational entities by Human Development Index

The article List of Latin American subnational entities by Human Development Index has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not only Argentina and Chile use different methodology, but every country has its own methodology. When the UN built its list of HDI, it makes using the GDP per capita adjusted per power purchasing parity to avoid discrepancies in the exchange rate. This list doesn't use a standard methodology, so it should be deleted. See the the source of each country to see that each one uses its own methodology. Looking at these reverts of yours, [1], [2], [3], I've just had an epiphany: why not turn those tables into templates? Then let's ask all the frequent, good-faith editors to add the templates to their watchlists. If necessary, we'll ask for semi-protection for the templates. What do you think? SamEV Feliz año to you as well. I think it would be wonderful to have the tables in templates as well as having them semi-protected. Most of the templetes are vandalized almost daily. And did you really mean that the *templates* get vandalized almost daily, or did you mean the *tables*?

Also, maybe the solution could lie in having the article itself semi-protected. (And no, I'm not suggesting that in order to avoid making those templates, hahaha). After all, there's vandalism to more than just the tables, in the article. What do you think? As you may know, I've been absent from the article since I took a break last spring, so I don't know if protection was ever sought during that interval. Hi there. I decided not to use the GDP per capita figures on page 22 of the PricewaterhouseCoopers document, because it only includes four Latin American cities (Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro). What I did was I used population estimates for 2006, published by City Mayors. Because the GDP data are for 2008 and the population data are for 2006, the calculated GDP per capita figures may not accurately reflect the actual GDP per capita for 2008, as I noted in a footnote below the table in the article. I tried to find a reliable source for 2008 population estimates for world urban agglomerations, but was unsuccessful. I realize combining two sets of data from different years to yield a new result is not recommended, but it was the best compromise I could find. I could have very easily calculated my own 2008 population estimates based on population growth trends, but I decided against it, because that would have constituted original research, which Wikipedia forbids. Latin America

Hi! I am having a little problem in the article Latin America with editor SamEV about Brazilian demographics. The main article about Brazil explains that the "Pardo" population is a a broad category that includes sub-categories such as the Mullattoes, Caboclos (known as "Mestizos" in Hispanic-America) and Cafuzos (known as "Zambo" in Hispanic America). In the Latin America article there is a table that says that 39.1% of Brazilian population are "mulatto" when the correct should be "Pardo". I explained that carefully in the talk page (See Talk:Latin America#Conflict with editor SamEV) but editor SamEV not only ignored my remarks but insist on reverting all my edits. I also tried to reach his in his own talk page but he simply erased my message. That is not a helpful behavior of his. I should had simply requested to an administrator to block him per the 3 eevert rules and asked for an arbitration since his behaving as his owns the article. However, I want to avoid that since the issue is something very simple, that is, nothing more than to clarify the table that present Brazilian demographics. As it is know, it says that there are 0% Caboclos or Mestizos (the majority of the population in Northern Region, Brazil, Northeast Region, Brazil and Central-West Region, Brazil) and 0% Cafuzos or Zambos.
