Please read Wikipedia's policy on autobiographies written at WP:AUTO; in short, while not forbidden, it is highly discouraged, as people naturally write favorably about themselves. To be successful, you would essentially need to forget everything you know about yourself and only write based on the content of independent reliable sources. While this is technically possible, it is very rare; I've been here many years and have yet to see someone successfully write a valid biography about themselves. If you are recognized as an authority in the area of your research and independent sources have on their own given significant coverage to what you do, you might meet Wikipedia's special definition of notability and merit an article. Ideally, someone else should write it; you may make a request at Requested Articles, but that process is very backlogged. If you still want to attempt to write about yourself, you should use Articles for Creation to submit a draft for an independent review. 331dot (talk) 12:23, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I would also note that a Wikipedia article is not necessarily desirable, please read this page. 331dot (talk) 12:24, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
